Making ADRs for the whole week...can I book CRT first?

Ok, I check in on July 12, and I want to make reservations for CRT on the 17th.
I was told by a nice lady at DVC MS that If I wanted to make that reservation on CRT when I call on April 12 (using the 10+ rule), first I needed to make a any dining reservation for July 12. Now, I heard how fast those prime breakfast times go (I want my ressie at 8:30 or anything before the park opens so I can have nice pictures with the castle), will I be able to make the 17th reservation first and then go and make the rest of my reservations?
Thanks for the help

I've never had to do that when making 90 +10 reservations for clients. As long as the dining is up to 10 days from your check in date you should be able to make it.

You may have to spend a little extra time if the CM has to verify arrival dates or link your room res number to the dining. I think they are supposed to do that, but not CMs do. Have your room or package reservation number handy!

For some reason I thought CRT was one of the few ADRs you could still make 180 days in advance. But maybe that is no longer an exception to the 90 day rule. (Oops. Nevermind. I found in the ADR sticky where CRT, CM, and V&A are now also subject to the 90 days.)

But to answer your question... yes, you can, and should make that ADR first.

CRT and Chef Mickeys are still 180 day reservations. You should be able to make those and then wait for your 90 days for the others. I have made mine for May already CRT and Chef Mickey that is.

According to the Reservation Date Calculator at this link http://www.wdwinfo.com/wdwinfo/dining/pscalc/dispscalc.html, your call date is April 13 not the 12.
Thanks, I put my date there (July 12) and it came with April 12. Am I missing something?

You could only made 180 days reservations if your reservation was for or before June 19th. After that date, you have to go with the 90 days.

You definitely can and should make your CRT first and then go back and make your earlier ones with the 90 +10. If you start with a date past 90 days, they will get your arrival date and confirmation number 1st to be sure it is within the proper time period and then let you make the reservation.

I entered 7-12-09 and the 90 day came up at 4-13-2009 on both allears.net and wdwinfo.com calculators.:confused3 :confused3

You can call the dinning number and they can tell you which day to call so you can be absolutely sure.
