Thanks for your advice on what to wear next week.

We are going to pack like we do for DLR. T's and jeans in the day, sweatshrits & light jackets for the evening (renting a locker each day).
We will have our big coats with us just in case.
Its still very chilly here in Vegas in the early AM when we leave.

That's pretty much what we are doing too. I hadn't thought about getting a locker. We may do that too.
It's cold in the morning's here too. It's like....freeze in the morning and ditch the jacket by afternoon. Just crazy!

I know!!!

I am getting there but it's scaring me. Remember what happened when I was too excited to sleep LAST Februray??? I was sick the entire trip! I'm definitely going to try for some good rest for the next 6 days!!

I just finished reading your two "how i roll" updates. I love all that you said about OKW. I'm TOTALLY with you about being an OKW lover. When we drive to WDW, that is our definite favorite. I also love the layout of the villas, because BWV and BCV are so similar in layout.. OKW is unique.. and BIG!!

The pictures you posted of OKW are amazing, too.. took me right back there.

Have a fabulous trip! We'll be so excited to hear all about it!

We absolutely adore OKW. It's so nice and quiet and spread out. I like having my "elbow room".

***QUICK NOTE:

I think I forgot to say that my ticker is a day behind. We are actually leaving in 6 days rather than 7. When I added an extra day to our trip for DH's driving experience I didn't update the ticker. I was going to do it but I realized that when I make a new one it would start Tinkerbell over at the beginning of the ticker line. DS loves to see how close she's getting to the end so I just left it like that for him.

I've been drinking airborn all week washing hands overtime and making sure DS washes his hands FREQUENTLY too. Everytime I leave the school I start Purell-ing myself until I can get home and wash my hands again. Last time I had a sinus thing. I am so paranoid this time that one of us is going to catch that nasty virus that has been going around.

Ok so we finally made it to #5 on our countdown!! If you remember, I have some small surprises for DS from the Target $1 section for each day starting from 5 to 1.

Tonight he pulled off #5 and got a prize!! It's a cute little snack bowl that he can use on our drive to WDW. It's got Buzz Lightyear, Woody, Jessie, and an alien on it. (he wouldn't let me forget about the little green alien )
These snack bowls will really come in handy!

As for me, I've got most of everything packed. I'm just in a waiting period and it is DRIVING ME NUTS!!! I'm to the point that I can't wait until Wednesday just so I can do the laundry for the clothes we've worn between today and then. I'm losin' it. I'm SOOOO READY TO GOOO!!!

The Target dollar section had some really cute Disney stuff one day. I got one of each thing and wasn't sure if I should just give it to DS or surprise him somehow. DH had the idea to just start giving them to him starting at 5 days out. hmmmm.....GOOD IDEA!!

That is such a cute idea. Your ds is growing up. He looks taller. I am normally in Target once a week but since Grace was in the hospital I have tried to avoid public places as much as possible. I must have missed the dollar section on my last trip. I have only been there a couple of times since before Christmas.

He is getting SO TALL. I just bought him all new uniform pants and jeans 3 weeks ago and they are already getting to be too short.

I totally understand about trying to avoid the public places with Grace. I have been doing all my shopping while DS is at school......not that there are any less germs over there. I sure hope Grace is much better now!

I'll get a PTR going one of these days!! Anyway.. they live in the neighborhood next to us, and we have started having weekly Disney Planning Meetings.

I told them that for one of our February meetings, each family will be making our countdown calendar! I will share with the other adults about the five day gifts! Thanks!!

And, yes... DS looks MUCH older! wow!!

Great idea about the countdown calendar. We have a couple of friends who just admitted that they would like to go with us on a trip to WDW. I think it will be fun. They can't go until 2010, though.

Tonight we pulled off #4. He was so excited! Under the #4 was a picture of Triceratops Spin in Animal Kingdom. He loves that ride.

The surprise for tonight was a pack of 2 markers with Monster's Inc characters on them. One end is a marker and the other end is a roller stamp. When you roll it, one says "sully" and has a tiny pic of him and the other say's "mike" and has a pic of mike. He LOVES them!

Stacy has been spotted in WDW the past week. I guess we are about to start seeing an updated version of the top 7!! I'm so glad that they kept her. We usually fall asleep watching Stacey. It's comforting....I really feel like I'm at WDW when she's on.
