DH and I are very excited about having a night at Disney sans DD (my mom has decided to come along for the trip!). Since we've never explored the no-kids aspects of Disney we are at a loss for a place we can go to have a few drinks and maybe an appetizer without having to order a full meal:confused3 . We were thinking of spending the rest of our time at Magic Kingdom but are willing to go anywhere for food. Any opinions would be greatly appreciated! TIA:)

My ds & his dgf go to Jelly Rolls every trip and they love it . Not sure if they have any food. I've never been sry.

Check out Jellyrolls at the Boardwalk, its a lot of fun. They don't serve food, but there are plenty of places at the Boardwalk to grab a snack or appetizer.

Another vote for Jellyrolls, plenty of places right on the Boardwalk to eat, Spoodles, Big River, ESPN, and more....

The Tambu Lounge/Bar at the Poly is one of our favorites. It can be a little hectic with O'Hana right next to it, but they have good bartenders and serve appetizers. On the Epcot side, Martha's Vineyars at the Beach CLub also has drinks and appetizers, and it is a quick walk to Epcot if you want to spend the evening there. My last suggestion is the Crew's Cup Lounge at the Yacht Club, also serving drinks and appetizers. Enjoy your child-less night!!

I would say eat dinner anywhere that appeals and tehn head to Jellyrolls for drinks and fun. I LOVE jellyrolls. Bring a few $10s w/ you!

If you are planning on spending your time alone at MK, then walk over to The Wave (lounge area) at Contemporary resort. They have great drinks, a nice wine list and wonderful apps. The lounge area is fantastic, very comfy.

We enjoyed relaxing in the Victoria Falls Lounge at AKL. It's on a mezzanine level below the lobby and above the restaurants. It overlooks Boma.

I would also like to try the recently refurbished lounge at the Contemporary ---- is it called Outer Rim? I saw pics recently somewhere on this site. It looks really nice and spacious.

I just remembered one more. Raglan Road --- Irish bar and restaurant in DTD. A great and lively place with live entertainment beginning around 9PM.

We love the Tambu Lounge at the Poly, great wings and they have this crazy good breads and dips basket..goes great with the Sunken Treasure cocktails!

The Rose and Crown pub at Epcot in the UK has a full bar and tasty pub food too. It can be very packed and very rowdy with very long waits, but it's a blast!

The best place after dark has to be Mizner's Lounge at the Grand Floridian! Grab a table for two by the window, enjoy the mood lighting, great appetizers courtesy of those great GF chefs and the amazing (yet not intrusive) band playing outside. More secluded than Tambu Lounge, it's a great spot to spend some peaceful, romantic time with your honey!

We did a night of monorail bar hopping - Mitzner's for a drink and appetizer - hop on the monorail and do Poly bar up by Ohana's for another - then ride monorail and switch to Epcot rail and go to a World showcase bar for nightcap and dessert - relaxed pace, no ressies needed, no real schedule - just meandering wherever the mood takes you!:)

To those already mentioned there is also the Territory Lounge at the Wilderness Lodge. It's within striking distance of the MK.
We're going to take Webray's suggestion and try the Wave next trip...

The Wave is pretty good and within walking distance of MK. We ate dinner there twice and spent some time at the bar one afternoon. They have TVs and the parade of people make it a great place to sit back and watch the show. Also, the bar at the Grand Floridian, Mizner's, has some nice views and the entertainment is fun, albeit loud at times. Another vote for Territory Lounge, too.

Thanks for all the suggestions! I've gone from having no ideas to having no clue which one to chose:rotfl2:

Thanks again :thumbsup2

And one more vote for the Territory Lounge. Nice apps, and pretty quiet.
