Getting Nervous

Let me preface this by stating that I am usually not one to panic about ADR's. However, this trip we are celebrating my daughter's move into "teenagerdom" :scared: (that in and of itself is a reason to panic!!). LOL She has made only one request, and that is that she celebrate her birthday dinner at OHana's. The problem is that her birthday falls on Mother's Day. I am so afraid that when I can finally call to make my ADR's (2/7), everything is going to be booked for Mother's Day! We are a party of 5 and I just read a coulpe posts about people having difficulties with parties of 5. I'm used to that at Le Cellier, but at O'Hana's too???
Just needed to get that off my chest.........thanks for reading.

IF you get on the phone the moment the reservations are open you probably will get a chance. I called last Sunday morning and we are going in April ...
Last Mothers Day we were able to get a reservation for 9 at Chef Mickeys Mothers Day Brunch, so we were an off the wall number too.
Good luck and just keep trying

If they say they don't have anything for 5. Hang up and call right back. Try to get a table for 6.

This literally just happened to me with Boma. Nothing for 5 people....called for weeks. Then a CM this morning suggested I just book it for 6. Got the exact time I wanted. She was the one who suggested it so I guess it's allowed.

I wouldn't do this at a restaurant where I have to give my credit card first, but don't anticipate a problem.

So just another option to pursue.

Good luck!!!

I agree with this. And, then once there, just say the sixth person could not make it. We were told to do this when we changed a reservation two years ago. They only had a table for 3 and we were a party of 2. They said to just show up and say the ohter person couldn't make it at the last minute or changed their mind.
