This is where your Planning session takes place and also your Site visit if you decide to do one. I actually thought all of the Wedding planners, coordinators, worked here in this location, but their offices are actually in Celebration. I was so surprised by how small Francks really is.

Day 4: Typhoon Lagoon, Carolyn Allen's, and movies

Since I had orginally thought that I scheduled the engagement shoot and Ana for my hair & make-up trial, we didn't have anything planned for this day. So we decided to go to Typhoon Lagoon. Unfortunately I must be very bad at trip reports because I have no pictures

So onto Carolyn Allen's...

I had mapquested directions to Carolyn Allen's and it was really easy to find. We were basically the only ones in the store. Two girls came in later to get some suits altered but mostly we had Sue & Keith's undivided attention which was nice.

Here's my goofing off with a hat Keith said I should wear.

Matt was able to try on some tuxes and I talked to Sue about gown steaming. I am planning to ship my gown but now I'm starting to get really nervous about it. So we'll see. DF's mom is planning to drive down so I might ask her to take it down with her, or try to take it on the plane.

If I ship my dress, I would also like to ship my bridesmaids dresses, flower girls, & moms' dresses. Sue was very nice and answered all my questions. Keith let Matt try on an Ivory tux, which I said will clashed with my white dress, but we ending up choosing this one for the groom and groomsmen

However, my father doesn't like the tan and wants to wear a different color So now I don't know what to do, I really like the midnight blue color on their website. Keith said the Fathers should wear brown, but It's a striped brown tux and I don't think it goes together. So this is something I'm really confused about

Keith & Sue were awesome! However, when I got home their email person bascially said the prices and estimates I were given weren't really the prices being used for 2009. But Keith was awesome and straightened everything out for me. We just don't feel like we made a final decision now on the tuxes.

After Carolyn Allen's we decided to head home. We ended up going to see the Dark Knight which really bugged me. Now, let me explain. I thought the Dark Knight was a really good movie, but I can see a Movie anytime I want to in Philly, but I can't just skip over to Disneyquest or to see Fatasmic any old time I feel like it! So I went to the movie because the rest of the group wanted to and kept my frustrations inside. But it was the first time I went to the AMC at Pleasure Island.

Next up, Day 5 at Epcot, & Day 6 at MK!

I love the ariel theme!! You have soo much planned and I feel like the biggest slacker ever! Your dress definitely looks like it fits you perfectly! Sorry to hear about all the rough patches you have had to go through ! I have never seen pics of anyone getting married on the wp beach either very nice! I look forward to hearing more!

Congrats on selecting Living Seas for your reception; our guests really loved it!

I'm glad you found a videographer you feel most comfortable with for your wedding. Its important to find the best pick for you and your DF. We used Stan, but of course no videographer is a perfect fit for every couple

O'hanas is such a great restaurant; I think they did away with the potatoes when they started removing trans fats from all the menus on property.

Don't worry about shipping your dress; it was one of the best choices I made. Carolyn Allen's did a great job and that was one less thing to worry about when we were traveling

Ok, so I am definitely behind in letting you all know about my wedding planning! Sorry for being MIA again. Life gets in the way too much!

The good news is I have several updates for you all! My save-the-dates, wedding website, and engagement pics which I never posted before. Also, I've been on an reorganizing kick since the new year, and it looks like my photos on my PJ don't work anymore since I reorganized my albums on Photobucket I was so angry when I realized it!!!! Now I know what I'll be doing all weekend!!!

Well, since I'm really late in recapping my site visit trip, I'll cut it short to the most important day - the engagement shoot with Randy.

Friday, Day 6 As most of you know, I didn't like my pics at first. I think it was that I had really high expectations of Randy and I just didn't think they were meet. However after a few months, I now really like my Photos. And I still love Randy! I still wouldn't trade him, but I think it was great that we did this shoot because I think our wedding pictures will turn out so much better.

This was also the day for my hair & makeup trial with Ana & Lily from Beaute Speciale, LOVE HER! Both was so awesome about rescheduling my appt. I love my hair and Lily did a great job with my makeup. I originally said I wanted to have a 'smokey look' and when I didn't like it Lily redid it for me!

Here I posted my favorite photos - this will take a few posts so stay tuned! My update continues after the photos.

More updates! In November, I sent out our DIY Save-the Dates. Then about 2 weeks later, Disney sent out the new Cinderella themed save-the dates. I was really annoyed because I thought my save-the-dates that I made were not take so long to make, but anyway, they are out and I've officially started to get the word out about our wedding! Now here's my small rant... I don't like the new Save-the-dates because you have no idea how many people have asked me questions about hotel stay, all because Disney doesn't lay it out anymore on the save-the date. Don't get me wrong, I love the new look, I just wish they kept the same information on it instead of replacing it with a phone number & website!

Here's the Save the date magnets I made. I wish I printed the magnet on Glossy paper now. My Inspiration is from Mermaid_Ariel's save the dates. I tried to book her designer but she was full already.

Also, I am 99% finished our Wedding Website! I'm using Wedding Window, but I purchased my own domain name. I signed up when I say Camara's awesome site! Please, please visit it and let me know what you think! I am basically doing the finishing touches on it now, proofreading, fixing font, etc. I would really like to add more to the Individual Park pages and also finish Downtown Disney as well. But I wanted something for our guests to feel like they should come back and visit it.

I'm going to send out the E-save-the-dates that Wedding Window has and change it to 'Announcing our Website'.

Also, we aren't having the turnout for the wedding as we thought we would. We invited 56 people to the wedding (including children) but only our immediate family and a few friends will probably be joining us. Alot of people say they just don't have the money in this economy and we have 2 people who are pregnant and due just before the wedding and then my cousin decided to have his wedding this year a month before ours. So we haven't gotten any official no's, but we are pretty sure we won't have the turnout that we thought we would have

Also, DF's groomsmen are giving us big problems - I'll elaborate more on that later.

Another update - Our Planning session is scheduled for March 6 for 1pm and our Menu Tasting is at 11am. DF, Me, and my parents will be going from March 5-8 and staying at Pop Century. It's very possible we actually might go to a Spring Training game to see the Phillies in Clearwater. It's been a dream of my Father's to go and see a Spring Training game and since he'll be so close to it, I really can't tell him no even though I'll be in Disney! I think it's because I know I'll actually be in Disney twice this year! YAY!

One more update-we are going bridesmaid dress shopping next Saturday with my Mom and sis/MOH and on Feb 15 with all the bridesmaids and Mom. My sister said she wants to go first with me and my mom so she can get in all her opinions first! I'm letting them pick their own dresses as long as it's an aqua/teal color. I'm going more alongthe lines of Aqua. I'll post pics afterwards.

My mom and I will be booking our rooms soon for the Wedding and our plane tickets!!!!! I can't believe it's finally getting close! We may be doing it this Sunday because my Mother has been bugging me to get it done for awhile.

Ok, now I need everyone's help! I'm gearing up for my PS and I coordinated my massive Target Wedding Binder with all of my information filled out and my decor and cakes pic in there as well! I need your help with the Menu! Any suggestions on what we should try would be very much appreciated!

I looked at your pictures the other day and never got to say how beautiful they turned out! We got shots in some of the same areas for our e-pics with Randy so they brought back lots of great memories. I especially like the date in the sand, DH wrote our intials in the sand and I love that shot!

Don't worry about how many guests you end up with in the end, the people that are closest to you will be there for you and you'll have a beautiful wedding no matter what

I love your STD cards that you made for your guests. Do you have a shot of what the new Disney ones look like?

Your web site is looking great, you have tons of wonderful info on there for your guests.

I didn't realize that you're a LS bride too, its such a wonderful location.

You should definitely go to a spring training game with your date. DH loves spring training and he took a group of his groomsmen there to see the Detroit Tigers play in Lakeland while I was having my bridal tea.

Yes, I'm crazy I seem to be posting repeatedly in one night. Well this thread has kind of made me double check my decisions and make sure they work. Writing it all down just helps alot I guess...

So we set the date that we would like, September 1st 2009. We set this date because My DF really wants to do the Disney Cruise and we haven't been emotionally attached to any date so we have been choosing our date based on cruise dates and the low season in Disney. It's not exactly low season because its the week before Labor day but that date helps both my bridesmaids as well. My MOH is about to graduate with her education degree and goes tomorrow for interviews for schools. Plus my bridesmaid will be 18 and will be entering college then so hopefully both their school schedules start after Labor Day, which is 9/7 in 2009.

So September 1st it is! Does anyone know if how hard it is to get the date that you want?

Ok here's some pictures of some items that either I like or that I have purchased already. I have alot of stuff I put away for the wedding and I'll take pics of that later.

This is my engagement ring. This pic is from when I got engaged in Cindy's Royal Table

Last year sometime, i went crazy buying stuff for the wedding and then reality set in and I thought... Where am I going to put this stuff, or better yet, how am I going to get it down to Disney? Anyways I bought 7 Sand Castles from Ebay. They were really a good deal, but now I don't know if we will use them. Here's a pic of kinda what they look like - I'll get a better pic later.

I also bought my guest book and garter off of ebay new for $6 together. It was a simple white garter with a sparkle starfish and a tossing garter. And the Guest book was a plain white bookwith blue ribbin and starfish. I'm not crazy about them now, but both of those things were relatively unimportant to be in the overall scheme of things. I may buy another guest book and garter because I found a whole set I love and it still goes with the pen I bought that I love too.

I really want some sort aqua as my wedding color I actually have a page from a bridal magazine of a program with ribbons that's my inspiration. I would like to use a range of blues and greens as my colors.

Here's is the garter and flower basket I really, really want. I am really thinking of buying them now but I'm not even close to getting bridesmaid dresses so I'm not sure what color I'll purchase but this is the color I want.

I really like these two styles of dress but not sold on them. I really want an off the shoulder type sleeve. ut I like the bodice and pick-up skirt. This may change once I try on dresses! I also am in love with the third..it's not anything like my picture in my head but I Love it... But I really want a big skirt since I never wore one for my proms.

Ok here for my rant about the Disney Princess line. I was really dissappointed. I don't think they look princess inspired at all, except for a few of the belle ones. This is the only thing I like out of the princess line. i was really hoping they would have a seashell tiara like Swarovski did with the Cinderella line. Oh well... Here is the only piece I like from the Disney Collection... But it's probably like $3000 or something
