One week from today we will be leaving for WDW!!! I just realized today that I am finished shopping for things to bring on the trip and now I'm actually ready to pack everything but things that I will use between now and then such as toothbrush, hair dryer, flat iron, etc.

I am so excited. I just finished eating lunch and thought I'd check my email and check the boards.....of course. Now I'm off to pack!!!!!!!

I am also excited..but looking at the weather.ugggg. What are you all packing??

GIRRRRLLLL!!!!! The question should be what am I NOT packing. That may be easier.

We bring lots of layers that way we are prepared for anything. We will bring jeans for every day. I may throw in one pair of shorts for DS and DH and a pair of capri's for me. I doubt that we wear them! During our other trips in February we stuck with the jeans and were very comfortable.

As for shirts well, that's where the layers come in. I bring T-shirts, long sleeve t-shirts, sweaters or sweatshirts, this time we have a couple of pull over hoodie types but I usually just bring a zip up hoodie. At night we usually layer a long sleeve t-shirt, a sweater or sweatshirt and then the hoodie on top.

But remember, we are from the south and are used to the heat, so when it is 50 outside we think it's about to snow or something.

I went last Feb and I have shorts on in pics during the day and jeans at night. But looking at the weather..who knows. I have to say that anything will be better than the 17 we have in Chicago right now

I just looked at our past 2 February trips in pictures and noticed that DH had shorts on last year. In 2007 there was a day or two that we wore shorts.

This year the forecast just seems to look colder than the past 2 trips. I do remember being COLD at night in the parks and comfortable during the day.
I'm thinking it will be close to the same this time but perhaps a little more chilly during the day most days.

I'm just hoping it doesn't rain. I can deal with cold but I really hate being cold and wet!

I just finished packing everything that I can for now. Must do some laundry tonight and then put the last few pieces of clothes in there. Then I'm done until the night before and the morning of.

I'm so glad to have stuff in the suitcases!! I feel so accomplished today.
I get cold really easily anyway so I will definitely be packing mostly jeans.

Thanks for your advice on what to wear next week.

We are going to pack like we do for DLR. T's and jeans in the day, sweatshrits & light jackets for the evening (renting a locker each day).
We will have our big coats with us just in case.
Its still very chilly here in Vegas in the early AM when we leave.

I just finished reading your two "how i roll" updates. I love all that you said about OKW. I'm TOTALLY with you about being an OKW lover. When we drive to WDW, that is our definite favorite. I also love the layout of the villas, because BWV and BCV are so similar in layout.. OKW is unique.. and BIG!!

The pictures you posted of OKW are amazing, too.. took me right back there.
