DD6 has got nits again. It's a real problem in her class - I'm sure there must be at least one parent that doesn't check or treat their child for them because there always seems to be someone who has them.
What do you recommend? I apply a solution - she has one on now that has to be washed out in the morning and then reapplied in 7 days and it absolutely reeks of liquorice. Some people have said tea tree conditioner, leave it on and then comb through with a nit comb is the best way to treat and keep them at bay. I'm hoping someone has a good tip to prevent her getting them at all but I've just googled nits and it says they don't care if hair is long,short,dirty,clean,loose or tied up, hair is hair and they'll set up home in it whatever the length or condition.
