****THE NEW OFFICIAL PLAN*****
Ok, so we have some new plans once again. There are some down sides to it but it is mostly good. I am excited about it.

We have discussed every option and decided that it would be best for us to cancel the cruise It just was proving to be too stressing financially. So....we're back to doing just Orlando and a longer stay. Things won't go back to the original plan though because I have since found out that we would qualify for the free dining since Cole is 2. Since finding this out we have decided that even though we thought we'd never stay onsite or use ddp, this is just too good of a chance to try it. We also had to move our dates up soon in order to qualify. The official plan is: Arriving on Sept. 27 and staying through Oct. 7...10 nights plus free dining! We are booked in a new pirate themed room(the boys are loving this) at the Caribbean Beach resort. We have 6 day park tickets plus we will be doing dtd and MNSSHP one day, going to the beach one day-and hanging at the resort, and going to Sea World one day. Also, now that we are staying longer I am back to booking the boys on one of the pirate cruises! This is all good news for the countdown I just hope it won't be too hot or crowded then. Can anyone help me out with this??

I will need lots of advice/tips for staying onsite and the ddp since we have never done either. Looks like I have a lot more research and planning to do (ADR's). Let the fun begin!
:thumbsup2

We had to miss last year and so as soon as we decided when we were going I wanted to start planning. I know, my dh says I need help. I want to start a pre trippie but I don't know if anyone would come along and help me make the time pass a little faster until then or not. I thought along with some plans I could share pics of current happenings and hopefully get to just chat and discuss disney dreaming with some friends who share my love of Disney. Before I officially start I'd like to see if anyone would be even interested in this thread. If you think you might like to just talk about Disney, going to Disney, kids, husbands and just life in general while waiting to go to Disney, drop me a message on here and if I get anyone interested at all then I will officially start. Thanks for at least listening to my rantings.:goodvibes

I'm sorry but I actually can't remember how I did it. I'm going to try and figure it out though so I can post this new link in my sig. I'll be back soon with an update on...something,lol.

I'm in too :)

YAY!! Thanks for coming along.

I'm in! I'm planning on going the week after you, staying at POFQ. I'm trying to determine when to start my pre-trippie! I'm a major planner, and then usually when I get there the plans get tossed out the window. But at least the planning helps to pass the time!

It's never too early to start a PTR! *raises a fist with tears in her eyes*
I'm going in Oct. myself but was a little nervous to try and start one. But now you've given me confidence! I'm subscribing too ^_^ Let's hear the whole story~

Ok, so here's the very rough draft of our plan.

Leave our house in central Illinois and start driving to WDW on Saturday Nov. 28th. We will stop in Georgia on this night to catch some sleep before heading out the next day and arriving in Orlando. We hope to be staying for 8 nights and are staying offsite at a Windsor Hills townhome. We have always stayed offsite and while I'd like to experience staying onsite sometime, I just can't imaginge being stuck in a hotel room after being spoiled with seperate bedrooms for the kids and us, a kitchen, washer/dryer and so on. We have never stayed at Windsor Hills before though and so we are excited about that.

We are finally going to do all 4 parks. The first time we took a family trip there we only did MK and Sea World (gotta get my dolphin fix). The second time we went to MK, AK and Sea World (that's the trip that's in my siggy). So this will be our first time at Epcot and DHS. We are very excited about that!! I am also thinking of which character dining to do as I'd like to do 1 or 2 and we've never done one of these either. I think probably chef mickeys for sure and maybe Ohana. Any opinions on this would be welcomed. Another possible first for us is that I am considering getting tickets to MVMCP which we have never done. This will be our first time to disney during all the christmas magic so it will be a trip of many firsts and that makes it all the more exciting.

OK, so on to the cast (if I haven't put you to sleep already, lol)

Me~ Tracy. I am a 27 yr. old stay at home mother of 3 wonderful boys. They, along with their father, are my whole world. I am a very lucky girl. I went to MK when I was 13 with my dad and 2 brothers an vowed to go back. We have since been twice as a family and even though my dh is still on the fence about disney I have easily converted my kids into disney freaks!

DH~ Jerry. He is 30 and loves all things cars. He is in autobody repair and painting for which he has his own shop behind our house. A few months ago he got a new job working on a pipeline 7 days a week, 3 hours from our house. He is also in the process of trying to get a job on the railroad.....he is a busy guy, lol. We've missed him a lot these last few months and can't wait for things to return to normal.

DS1~ Dylan. He is 10 but thinks he's 20,lol. He keeps us on our toes but has a big heart and a love for disney like his mommy. His favorite character is Jack Sparrow. He also likes Toy Story and all things Star Wars.

DS2~ Blake. He will be 8 in about a week. He is an extremely sweet boy. Very calm and loveable yet a daredevil and loves coasters. He also shares my love for disney. His favorite character is now a toss-up between Wall-E and Stitch. He also loves POTC and all things Star Wars.

DS3~ Cole. My baby boy. He is 20 months old and our little doll. He is a VERY good, VERY happy little boy. I already have him hooked on disney as well. He loves Mickey Mouse Clubhouse, Tigger and Pooh and his favorite character still seems to be Pluto. He loved seeing the characters on our last trip and I can't wait to see his reaction this time.

Hi Kristen!!! So glad you found your way here. I will try not to bore you too much. I should be in bed also but alas I must stay up for a bit for some "mommy" time. My poor baby Cole is working on his 5th night of throwing up/not eating and today diarhea(?) We head back to the doctor in the morning to get him rechecked. It's been a crazy week. Talk to you soon.

Hi!!! Nice to see that you came by. Cole is a very happy boy. We had a fantastic time and I can't wait to go back. Hopefully this won't be too boring since I have so long to go before we leave.

Morning Tracy!!
I just read/look through your PTR, and you've got some GREAT pics on here!!:thumbsup2 Your boys are so photogenic!! And I just have to say, I love the pic of Coley asleep in bed with baby Pluto! How adorable is that?!:goodvibes

I hope that Cole is feeling beter soon!!! It's so hard with the older kids in school, the baby is the one that catches everything, I swear!! I keep saying the my Cole will never have a sick day from school since he'll have had it all by the time he's 5! Poor babies!!!! :guilty: Hope today is a good day for you and he's doing better, it's so scarey when they have the stomach virus!! Cole was hospitalized in Septemeber for a week for that because he was so dehydrated and I couldn't get him to keep anything down! He lost 2 lbs. in 2 days....it was scarey!! Especially when they are only 20 something lbs. to begin with. Praying he's doing okay.....:flower3:

Looking forward to hearing the rest of your plans....I've looked into Windsor Hills, can't wait to see what you think about it. I think when we go again we'll need to consider some place like that since we won't fit into a standard room anymore!!:sad1:

I'll ttys!!
Have a nice day!!!!
