Arrival time at port

What time do you get back to port canaveral after the three day cruise?
Also how long does it take to go through customs.

You exit based on your dinner rotation. We had early seating and we were off the boat and thru customs (which was only 3 minutes) at 8:15 am after eating breakfast.

The big doors usually open about 7:30--as soon as Customs clears the ship. However, we had one cruise where they didn't open till after 9! They ask that everyone be off the ship by 9.

You can exit any time after the doors open. If you are in a hurry, you can have breakfast on deck 9 or skip breakfast totally. Late seating breakfast starts about 8, so early guests are gone out of the dining room by then. You officially leave your cabin when you walk out of the room to breakfast--take your carry ons with you at that time.

If you need to claim your luggage, it is in color coded areas in the terminal and arranged in numerical order by cabin number. You can claim it and either walk it thru Customs yourself or have the porter take it for you. If you are on a participating airline with DCL transfers, you'll only have your carry ons as your luggage will go directly to the plane.

Customs takes essentially 5 minutes. The entire disembarkation process is very smooth!

We are assigned to main seating but do we have to go to the assigned main seating breakfast time on disembarkation morning. It is really early and we are in no rush to get off the ship since we aren't catching a flight.
Is the buffet open for breakfast or can we go to the later breakfast seating?

Our flight back home leaves MCO at 12:20. Based on what you say, we will leave the ship later. Can we request to leave the ship earlier?

You can't leave the ship till it clears customs...but if you are ready by 8 you should be able to get off and make your flight in plenty of time.

You can choose to have breakfast on deck 9 at your convenience as long as you are off the ship by 9. You technically can't choose to attend late breakfast as you will not have an assigned seat. However, there are always people who skip breakfast, so if you show up they will scramble and find you a seat somewhere. Yeah, I did it once--based on how it upset our server, I wouldn't do it again.

For the person with the 12:20 flight--if you feel that you want to be off the ship before about 8:30, you can have breakfast at the buffet on deck 9. However, no one is off the ship until Customs clears the ship--normally about 7:30, but no promises! DCL has no control of the ship from the time it is docked until it is cleared by Customs in terms of people getting on or off.
