Solo WDW:Avoiding a Divorce when NDH Goes Hunting thru Bday and Anniversary Upd:1/14

Jen.... you can make some jibitz for your Disney crocs... I did for DD... what I did was go the JoAnn Fabrics and they have Disney buttons... the kind with the loop on the back instead of the holes in the middle... anyway... I then bought some plain black buttons that we just bigger than the holes in the Disney crocs and sewed the fancy Disney buttons onto the black buttons... I did all of Maggies with pink castles and Cinderella slippers, etc.... the look really cute and they don't fall out.....

That's a really good idea...now to contemplate if I want to sew (I may scrapbook but put a needle in my hand UHOH)

Paula...just went to the gnome site and laughed my head off...the cliff diving one was hilarous...I loved it!!!!

Well this isn't an official update, I know I'm terrible with this update thing...I promise an update really really soon!!! Maybe even tomorrow if I'm lucky LOL!!!

Well my friends...it is time...time for what you ask...time for you to meet my very special friend. Yes, you guessed it the infamous Nobwick does really exist!! He's bursting at the seams for his trip and keeps bothering me as to why we haven't begun to pack yet!! Don't worry I'm not sticking him in a suitcase, well not until we get to Disney that is, then I'm going to have to sneak him in my backpack! I wonder if security will ask me any questions like...why do you have a gnome in your backpack?? I think I'll answer by asking if I can get a picture of the guard with Nobby LOL!!! Nobby is going to be the most famous gnome to ever set foot in Disney...just have to make sure he doesn't get mixed up with the dwarves...that would be bad LOL

I I love all the gnome comercials.. my favorite is the cliff diving one.. i laughed so hard I thought I'd choke!! LOL!! Some of the commercials are on the website Gnome Home. The Cliff one is there...you should watch it if you haven't seen it LOL! I looked today to see if the cue card one was there, but it wasn't boooo!!

Well you won't be able to tell too much of a difference because I realized the picture I posted of me at the beginning of my PTR was 5 years ago and between now and then I have grown my hair long, permed it, cut it a bit short, and now done this to it...LOL

I had the best time yesterday going to get my hair done!! My hair stylist Brad was phenomenal. He could tell I was nervous because the last hair cut done the weekend before was horrible. But he immediately made me feel as if I had been a customer of his for years. We discussed numerous things, Disney being one of them OF COURSE!! And it was a really nice two hour break where I felt pampered and then to top it all of I walked out with a gorgeous hair do. Even more stunning, I got talked into bangs, I haven't had bangs since I was a sophomore in high school, but sure enough I have cute bangs LOL

Well 6 days to go before I leave for Disney and I still haven't gotten much done yet! I still need to pack, however I do have most of the stuff thrown on the bed in the spare bedroom. I still have to make my shirt from the AMAZING dISign Paula made for me, however I can say I have at least made the transfer!! For me it is all about the little things!!

Well guys Prince Phillip's alarm just went off so that means I actually have to start getting ready. So I will check in at lunch time and finish off my itinerary for you!! Have a great Friday!!

Love the hair cut! I should post of pic of my new do on my PTR! I got my hair done on Wed. I'm still getting used to it. I had to get an inch and a half cut off to make my longest layer all the same length! I LOVE having long hair.

WHat a g reat pretrippie! Your title caught my attention...because my hubby & I also disagree on disney vacations!!!! We've been married 20 years now, & 4 years ago finally decided seperate vacations might save our sanity!!!! Our children (2 girls, now 14 & 9) are also Disney nuts, so taking dad to disney with us was just torture for ALL of us! So, since 2005 the girls & I have been going on a girls only trip about once a year....it's heaven!

I secretly confess....I can't wait until youngest dd is a little older and older dd is in college so I can do a solo trip to wdw!!!! It just sounds so perfect!!

So, I'm along for the ride! I hope you have a wonderful trip!

Awww..thank you so much for stopping by!! Yes my Prince Phillip has agreed it is in our marriage's best interest if we don't go to Disney together. He is more than happy to let me go...and he is being very generous lately when I've been talking about future trips...although I think that is because he's getting more hunting and fishing trips out of the deal LOL!!

I hope you get to do a solo trip sometime!! I'm really looking forward to mine!!

Super-cute--one of the best short hair cuts I have had!!-----If I had curly hair like Meghan, or super-hair like Soleil, I would grow, grow, grow!! But, alas, I don't--so I have decided to stop fighting it and just keep it short!!!!

Are you feeling better now? I know you were kinda feeling off for a while---of course your pending trip should heal your ails!!!! I know one thing that has helped me tremendously--and our local OB/Gyns here usually will verify--Flintstone vitamins. Yes, the kids kind. They are chewable, so the body recognizes that as food and dissolves and uses it better than a tablet. Tons cheaper too!! So, everyday I give one to me and the kids!!! And, for when that sinus stuff starts coming on....Echinacea-about 4 a day, for 2 days and the worst is over-I should just take them all winter, but I forget!!! Okay, that's the med report for today!! HA!! Didn't mean to hijack I'm so excited for you!!!!!

Shawna you may hijack whenever you want to!! I didnt think about taking Flintstones vitamins...I may have to consider doing that.

I've actually been feeling really good lately...thanks for checking on me I've been taking a large amount of medicine to help build my immune system up and I'm just taking a lot of stuff so I can be prepared for anything bad that might happen while I'm down there LOL!!! Hopefully nothing will!!!

I'm telling ya...I'm so hunting down Snow White for Nobby!! He HAS to have his picture with her!! BTW I'll post pictures of my scrapbook later for you all to see!! Tonight I make my Cast of Character pages WOOT...me and Nobby baby!!!!

Found out one of my teen girls from church and her family are going to be down there Sat -Tues while I'm there...so I told her to call me and see where I was and what I was doing...even though I have almost every minute planned LOL!! That way she and I could hang out together and her parents could have some alone time!!!!
