I'm thinking it should be anytime now and I'm kinda surprised they haven't announced the concerts yet. I doubt the stage probably won't be ready so maybe there's a delay in arranging everything.

Hmmm. Why does this list NOT include any dates during the actual week of Mardi Gras? Mardi Gras is Tuesday, Feb 24? I realize it's an incomplete list, but strange. Who are Lil Malcolm and Lil Brian? Not that I'll be there at those times, but ?????

It could mean they haven't finalized anyone for the week of 2/24 but you're right...it's a strange list but I'm sure they are still working on it.

Well, maybe it's because I'm a "foreigner" but I've never heard of most of the acts listed for this year (so far). Definately not so well known internationally as last year's performers.

When speaking to a rep (rate change for our HRH ressie) I was told that, Saturday Feb. 14th, it would be Frankie Valli & the Four Seasons. I'll be glad when they update the site so we can get definite info!

I believe, but could be wrong, that Tues. 2/24 isn't listed because the bands and the parades are on Saturday nights.

Sorry. I didn't mean THE 24th precisely, I guess I mean the Saturday before (2/21) and the Saturday after (2/28)....the "week" of Mardi Gras!

I think it's possible that some of the acts in the list I posted are the side acts that play on the street by where they sell the cajun style food.Definitely not KC and the Sunshine band but some of the others I looked them up on Youtube and they play New Orleans style music which is what they usually have on the street.This would be good as some of these acts aren't very popular but do bring atmosphere to the street but aren't big acts for the new mainstage.Let's see what happens,Universal should post the acts soon.
