"Free" Lockers

Last time I was at US I used one of the free lockers. It is just me or did the free time get a lot shorter? I seem to remember getting anywhere from 45 minutes to 2 hours on the free lockers. Now it looks like only 30 minutes. Getting only 30 minutes free seems to be inviting the fees to kick in. Anyone notice this or have more info?

I'm still trying to figure out the lockers and we just got back after a week....on MIB sometimes they were 30 minutes sometimes 40 sometimes an hour?

The TMs in the area of the free lockers, will open any locker for free if your wait time exceeded the time limit on the lockers.

they did it for me and others.

if the wait time for the mummy is longer than what is posted, don't worry about getting into your locker when the ride is over.

the staff is aware of it and you are not penalized for that.

i have seen the time frames vary for the free locker usage time when using.

Our wait time was never any longer (onsite guest), we just had to ride MIB over and over and over lol. we did have to switch lockers once lol

Ummm.. no they won't. They may do it as a courtesy if you have a good reason, but they will not do it if you don't.

Good reasons include legimately waiting in line longer than the alloted 'free' time on the locker. Bad reasons include wanting to use the locker 'free' all day.

sorry, i should have been more specific.
my wait was longer than posted while in the line.
i took the regular way to see everything i was passing by when doing the express lane.

The TM opened the locker for me each time due to the long wait.
yes, they don't automatically unlock all the lockers.
you have to ask and explain the reason to them.
