Upgrading Costco tickets to Annual Pass

I currently have AAA discount on two nights at Portofino in March for a $777.60 (son is 19 so have to pay extra adult charge per night). Now annual pass discount is available and would cost $571.50. But to get this, I would need to upgrade one of the tickets I already purchased.

I bought our 4 tickets from Costco last August. I got the 3 park unlimited (includes Wet n Wild). They were $92.99 plus up charge (I'm not a member) and shipping (actually cost to me was $101.36 each). I was planning to do Wet n Wild one day while we are still at Disney before we move to Portofino.

So my questions are
1. I would assume I would need to upgrade before I use the ticket at Wet n Wild, correct? If I do use the ticket there, will I be able to upgrade it?
2. Since the annual pass does not include Wet n Wild, I would need to purchase a ticket there. Looks like AP gets 25% discount on WnW tickets, correct?
3. Is there any problem upgrading the Costco tickets? Do they use the current cost of similar tickets (looks to be 94.99 now for 2 park unlimited) or what I paid (92.99) or ???
4. Assuming I need to change the ticket before going to WnW, we would need to stop by on the way there. It looks like Universal/IOA open at 9 and WnW at 10, so should be able to do so and get there by opening. How long should I allow to do the upgrade? Is there a way to do this without having to pay for parking at Universal? Can my husband drop me off somewhere and pick me up?
5. How bad do you think the lines will be at WnW on a Wednesday in mid-March?
6. Would you do this to save about $60 which is what I think I will save? Since I have AAA, I don't think any of the other discounts are any better.

Thanks

correcting my orignal statement and suggest you contact guest services by phone for help on the upgrade process.

2. Since the annual pass does not include Wet n Wild, I would need to purchase a ticket there. Looks like AP gets 25% discount on WnW tickets, correct? AP does give discounts on my things. I would have to check the AP website to give you the correct amount for that discount on W&W

3. Is there any problem upgrading the Costco tickets? editing my original post, suggest you contact GS by phone for more specifics. use the phone number in the post by phamton.

Do they use the current cost of similar tickets (looks to be 94.99 now for 2 park unlimited) or what I paid (92.99) or ???

go to guest services for that information. the tickets would be scanned to find out the cost value of them.

if you are staying at PBH, park there and walk over to the park guest services.

there are free shuttles from the onsite hotels to WnW.
they run a daily schedule with i think 4 times in the day.
2 schedules for departing from the hotel and 2 for returning
that is how it was in mid october when i was at the hotel.
the schedules may be different or more of them for the time period you will be there.

6. Would you do this to save about $60 which is what I think I will save? Since I have AAA, I don't think any of the other discounts are any better.

i pinch pennies all the time.
it's the only way .......

Thanks

hopefully others will post more information to help you.
i do suggest you call frequently and see if the room rates have dropped for your time period.
if they do, you can modify your rate to the cheaper rate.
i do that all the time

came back to add i reread your post.
you want to upgrade your tickets while still at disney.
have your husband use the drop off area at UO and you get out and go to guest services window that is outside the park.
use your cell phone and let your husband know when you are back at the pick up area.
you can have your husband drive down the street to the local strip mall to wait until you call him to return to pick you up.
that's my only suggestion in avoiding paying for parking in the garage while you do the change of tickets.

One small correction to Macraven's post. You can't upgrade the Cosco ticket if it has been used at Wet N Wild. That is shared revenue between two different companies. Come to think of it, you might not be able to upgrade even if they haven't been used because it includes Wet N Wild. I know that there are issues trying to upgrade Flex tickets because they include Seaworld, Busch Gardens, etc. You better call guest services for this one: 407-224-4233.

phamton knows more about those tickets than i do. i went back and edited my answers to your upgrading with the WnW questions.

phamton is the expert on that. Go with her suggestions.
i don't want to give out wrong info to you.

do call that number and ask guest services.
