Add tent to a RV site?

We have booked a premium site for March of next year for the 4 of us in our motorhome. My nephews might want to come. Can they pitch a tent at our site if we pay for the extra people? If my parents want to come down and stay in our RV, what is the extra fee? Thanks.

It is like 2-3 bucks a person extra. Yes, you can pitch a tent on the site for your nephews, no sweat.

EXCEPT - On a "premium" site there is no sand pad to pitch a tent. On the premium sites they paved over the pad to allow for larger RV's. Some folks have reported that folks are pitching tents off the side of premium sites, but remember that depending on the configuration of the site you may not have room to do this .

A campsite allows 10 people on the site, but only 2 of them can be adults without an additional charge. IIRC it is $2 per night per extra adult.

True the premiums are all concrete, but I saw numerous tents pitched on the 500 loop. One was next door to me and they had a class C and a tent, both on the pad. I guess the tent was self-standing, but it was a sleeping tent (not an EZ-Up kind). There was another site that had two tents and no RV at all... all on the pad. So, it can be done. Also, I can confirm that extra adults are $2 per day. I had to pay extra to get mom an extra key card so she could pick us up.

we were in the 1300 loop with a 29ft. TT and 2 tents...since 10 are allowed at the site we were charged no more for the added adults. We had a total of 6 people.

Did everyone have a key card? While 10 are allowed on a site, the extra charge does apply for adults ove 2. So, even with 6 on the site, your 3 adults should have cost $2 extra.

I just don't want someone who does get charged the correct fee to feel that they were ripped off because they read your story.

we had 5 adults and a child...everyone had keycards even the child...and no additional charge....maybe it was a mistake but I paid nothing extra when 3 were added when we arrived (2 adults and a child to original ressie of 3 adults)

I recently switched from a Premium to a Preferred site to make sure I will be able to put up a tent if my brother-in-law comes along.
