Just found you girls' report and read the whole thing in the past 2 days (yes, all 62 pages of it. I'm a little OCD like that.) I've really enjoyed reliving your trip with you. Only 10 more months until I'm there!! Anyway, just wanted to say Hey from a fellow Tennessean~

Also, I'm a Clemson fan, so I've been following your football discussion closely. It'll be cool to see how all these new coaches change things. If you ask me, USC ought to boot Spurrier, but I don't see that happenin' so I guess we're stick with his grumpy ol' face another season. We're pretty excited about Dabo Swinney around here, and 2 weeks from now we're headed to Jacksonville for the Gator Bowl!!

Another great update! After seeing some of the videos from the parade, I'm really pretty glad that we didn't try to see the parade with DD. She was a little freaked out just from it being dark and the the special lights, so I'm sure she would not have handled the grave diggers and stuff well. Hopefully we'll be able to go at Halloween again sometime when she gets older and we'll be able to see the parade.

yeah, the grave diggers could've been kinda scary for a little kid. i loved them but they were spooky!

Happy birthday Erica, 1 week late My b-day was sunday, I also love when it falls on Thanksgiving weekend. I took myself to disney on ice for my present, you'll have to check out the pics on my TR

AWESOME pics of the parade!!!! I like Dopey sticking his nose through the eyes of his mask I thought your pic of the headless horseman turned out really good. I haven't had the chance to see the video yet, hopefully tonight

I love the pictures with the villians. I wish we had gotten to see that show when we were there. I also love the story about the tree frog. I definitely wouldn't have had the guts to pick him up, but the last year I was working before DD #2 was born, I worked with a science teacher who had a passion for snakes. He had about 20 of them in the classroom, and sitting in there every day at least got me over my fear of creepy crawling things . He even got DD #1 to hold one once.........of course, she only did it because the snake was pink (it was an albino).

oh, i love anything like that. i've held many snakes. they don't bother me unless their head gets around mine then i get a little freaked out. and just LOVE froggies!

wow....all 62 pages? i'm impressed! you'll be at disney before i will! we're taking a disney break in 2009. but i've had more than my share so i'm happy.

I somehow missed the last update! Those Villians are awesome! I love the villians and wish they were out all the time. I wonder why they aren't? I also love the balloon pictures, the Disney CM's are the best! And that girl's outfit was definitely interesting - wearing a halter-top and booty shorts while walking barefoot through the Magic Kingdom parking lot... now that's class!

We left you 3 years ago at the MSSHP went back to the room crashed to spend our next day at the Animal Kingdom and to meet a very special friend!

We drove this morning to the AKL

I think this is Jiko but we were coming back later to eat at Boma

We took the long bus ride to the AK

We got to hold Simba....I wanted to do this on the last trip so was very excited

I really don't know whats up with my obsession of hats??!!??!!

We went and got some yummy food at the CS Yak and Yeti

Dawn dumped her frozen lemonade in her lunch ....I think we were pouring the melted part off since it was SO hot there was quite a bit that melted!

We took the back seat this time. Another thing I've never done before. It was very nice to be looking out the back with no one in your way but ~WARNING~ it was VERY bumpy

I love to watch the apes just out there being apes. With the glass enclosure, you can be within inches of those massive creatures!

Animal Kingdom Lodge and Animal Kingdom -- my favorites! You got some awesome pictures on Everest -- I would never be able to take pictures on that ride since I am too busy worrying about whether or not I will live through it.

Gorgeous safari pictures! That hippo's so cute! They're usually just floating around in the water so it's so cool to see them on land. Great Nemo pictures too! That little girl with the duck reminds me of my brother when he was little. He'd always be afraid of the ducks and birds coming for his food when we ate outside
