Can anyone tell me if they have cable in the 2000 loop yet. Packing this weekend and need to know if the baby bunny ears are going or the high tech white cable.
As usual, thanks for the info.
Clock is ticking!!!! 6 days to go now......

I have a report on that with a picture!! This morning as I was looping, I drove through 2000. There were several men digging holes at each site near the power pole and near the back corner of each site, and a ditch witch was cranking up!! Not sure if it will be in there and operational within 7 days, but they are starting on it!!!

Loop 900 has the coax coming out of the boxes at each site, so just need connectors and powering up for that loop.

Carol- I hereby deputize you as a TCD-Junior Deputy! Nice work! :thumbsup2 Based on how this has progressed on other loops, I would guess that it will be at least a month before the cable will be operational on 2000. That is a big loop, so they have a lot of conduit and boxes to install.

Pulling the baby bunny ears out for the TV. Like to keep up with the local forecast. :happytv:

As always, thanks for the awesome info.

I suggest that you try to get a digital converter box to use with the rabbit ears.

All of the Orlando stations seem to be sending out digital signals now, and the reception with a converter box is great. You will get all kinds of stations in addition to the major ones. It seems like the analog signals are now a lot weaker than they used to be.

The rabbit ears won't work at all after Feb. 2009, but I would expect by then that will not be a problem at the Fort.
