Is it a bad sign for the vacation when you faint on the plane? COMPLETED!

Ahhh, thanks for sharing your baby girl with us! She looks perfect! :goodvibes

So, Heidi, let's talk names. Will you be keeping us in suspense (because I know you already have possible names -- you're too much of a planner not to have some)? :rotfl:

Congratulations!! :goodvibes So jealous you are done with your shopping but I'll let it slide since we get the benefit of a TR update!

Congratulations Heidi! A girl... :cutie: I'm so jealous! I would love to have a little princess to dress up.

And I can't believe you are done with your shopping - good for you! I am usually much more ahead of the game by this time of the year, but I'm so behind right now. :confused3

Congratulations!! That's exactly what I have -- boy then girl. You are going to love having your very own little princess to spoil.

congrats on the new princess: joining your family!! Glad to hear she is healthy and growing well.

Oh, Wow! A baby princess! Congratulations!

You won't even believe the piles of pink laundry you are going to have! Before my DD we had mabe 3 or 4 pieces of red /pink laundry..... Ever since DD made her arrival we have had at least 2 loads of pinks waitng to go in at all times!

Just found your TR, I was there with my DS16 during the time you were there. We were there from Oct 31 to Nov. 2. My son played in the MK with his school steel drum band on Nov. 1.
Congratulations on your baby girl!
Looking forward to hearing about the rest of your trip.

Who me? Have something planned out months in advanced? I have no idea what you are talking about :rolleyes1

Congrats Heidi!!!

One of each...what a blessing:angel:

Liam will love being a big brother:lovestruc

Paula

Thanks! I'm sure Liam will love to teach his little sister all about cars and trucks and dirt.

Congratulations!! :goodvibes So jealous you are done with your shopping but I'll let it slide since we get the benefit of a TR update!
Just a couple more little things to pick up. Too bad I can't start wrapping yet....I have no where to put wrapped presents in the house.

I love the idea of having a least one of each. One of my friends has 3 girls!

Don't worry about being behind in shopping....prices seem to be dropping the closer we get to Christmas.

:grouphug: Congrats on the girl!!

Thank you!

I was drooling over the girls' clothes at the store the other day....I can't wait to shop for her!

Pink happens to by favorite color of mine :rolleyes1

Congrats again, Heidi.

I agree with CP, let's talk names. ;)

Leslie and Jackie seem like great choices! :rolleyes1

If I let you guys choose the baby's name it would probably be Ariel Belle or something like that.

We are using the name that we had picked for our first baby because we didn't know if it would be a boy or a girl. Since it was a boy we have the girl's name left over and DH and I still really like it. And no you are not finding out ahead of time. I actually have this weird quirk that I don't like unborn babies being refered to with what there name is going to be....kinda like jinkxing it.

I had a steele drum band at the cocktail hour of my wedding, love the music of the islands....wish I would have know that was going on that day!

I agree. No one knew my kids' names until they were born. (It drove people crazy!)

Congratulations!!

I know how you feel about name sharing. I also did not share the name ahead of time for the same reason. I also didn't want to hear people pass judgment.

Alright, fine, be that way. ;)

I knew you had it picked out already! :goodvibes

So it's decided then! Until her birth, Ariel Belle it is!

Totally agree with you! We didn't tell before the births either. :thumbsup2

We are still waiting for our room to be cleaned. I’m tired and I’m waiting for Liam to have a meltdown. The poor kid has been up since 4am and has only taken an hour nap on the plane….and that was early this morning.

I decided I needed a diet coke….the elixir of life. Back to Old Port Royale we go. I have to mention that when you first walk into OPR from the gift store door you are greeted by the most wonderful scent. Like a light coconut scent. This is when you know that you are staying at a Disney resort and not a HoJo’s on I-4. If you have any questions about the gift shop, please ask.

By the way, my diet coke was $2.44 (tax included). I was already happy we had stocked up on drinks at SuperTarget since a 12 pk of bottles only cost me $3.99. It’s now 3:15pm (I saved all my receipts because I knew my trip note taking would go downhill faster then Bode Miller.

3 more calls to check on the room. Finally at 4pm I am given our room assignment. Room 1321.

We head over. The game plan is for me to check out the room before we put one piece of luggage in it. I check the bed. Clean, no bugs. I checked the shower. We have water. I flushed the toilet. It works. Remote. Check. I check the drawers. Clean and empty. The room is very clean and I’m really happy that it’s brand new carpet. So I send DH to go fletch the luggage, carry-ons, and groceries.
By the way I asked at Target for insulated bags for my cold food…they didn’t have any…I should have brought my own like I had thought to. So I asked for brown paper bags…they had those so I put all the cold items together in the paper bags and everything was still slightly chilled when I put them away.
Poor DH, I don’t remember how many trips it took him to unload the car. So for the next hour DH watched TV, I unpacked, and Liam ran around the room. Back and forth all over the room…so much for having a meltdown!

Our plans for the evening had been to go to the Boardwalk area for dinner at Beaches and Cream or go to the GF for dinner at 1900 Park Fair. Then I hoped to meet up with MrsKSomeday (Tracey) for a mini-met. At 5pm I made the executive decision that we weren’t going anywhere. I had stuff all over the room that still needed to be put away, Liam still hadn’t rested (he really loved that hotel room!) and I never got a chance to rest. Walking around Crescent Lake did not sound like fun. I was bummed that we weren’t going to go to Beaches and Cream but there were some lunch holes in my plan for the week so I was hopefully that we could still squeeze it in. Little did I know at the time how many holes my plans we would end up having as the next 9 days wore on.

After I finished unpacking, I toasted an English muffin for Liam and we set him up on his portable booster sit at the table. A few minutes later he started to cry. I went over to him and the poor thing was asleep! Zonked right out. Thankfully DH had already set up his Aerobed, so we just laid him down.

I was so beat that I decided to drive to OPR instead of walking to pick up dinner for DH and me. Driving around CBR is really easy…and quick. There was plenty of parking right behind the food court. Getting food was uneventful. FYI…the cashiers have take-out containers.
Sorry but there won’t be a lot of food porn. I had every intention of taking pictures of everything but it just didn’t happened. DH had a double cheeseburger and fries, both were good. I had the grilled chicken sandwich with fries, which I liked very much. The chicken was a good size piece of chicken breast on a bun. I added lettuce and tomato from the fixin’ bar and dressed it with honey mustard dipping sauce.

I got this brownie for DH…it was really chocolately and dense (I didn’t care for it).

I got a chocolate chip cookie…YUM….just right!

Dinner cost $19.66 (tax included)

After we ate Liam woke up. We got him into his pj’s and he lay down with us on the bed as we watched the Amazing Race. We went to bed at 9pm…..and 9:07 I thought we were under attack. The fireworks from Illuminations started to go off. In my notes I wrote….OMG! They ended at 9:20 and really weren’t that big of a deal….I just wasn’t expecting them. DH and I slept like carp….major carp. Liam slept like a log on his Aerobed. Go figure!

Now for the pictures! I have before and after pictures of the room for you.
Here are the before we moved in pictures:

As you can see the Nemo theme isn't over powering. Just enough to remind you that you are at Disney. I do wish that Disney would stop using the full size comforters. We don't sleep with them on the bed and a king size on is huge. I wish they would just use a small decorative piece at the foot of the bed like other hotels are doing this days.
