Here is the story...we booked ourselves to fly MSP to MCO..with the plan that we would drive from Winnipeg to MSP to catch our flight. We got a great deal on tickets (660.00 for 3 of us) and have done this before.
Today I decided to see if I had enough Airmiles to get the Winnipeg-MSP portion of trip and I did and they had a ton of seats available. So we are no longer driving to MSP-giving up our shopping trip there-but with the change in the exchange rate we decided we really could make do with shopping in Orlando I went ahead and booked us flights from YWG to MSP to cover the portion we were going to drive.
So..my question is:
Really I have two different reservations..they are not connected at all, so when I check in now at YWG can I tell them I am actually connecting in MSP and have them take care of all our boarding passes? Or because they are not booked as connecting flights will I have to check in here..and then do the same for the remainder of our flight from MSP to MCO?
Hope that made sense!
