1-888-***-****, just called (Nov 15th) and it still works.

Is the toll-free number gone now? Could you PM me if it's still available (but you aren't allowed to post it in the main forums)? TIA :goodvibes

Honestly, why don't you just call the regular number, book online or use a travel agent (who will make the calls for you)?

Like it or not, fair or not, the toll-free numbers are NOT for the general public, they are ONLY for travel agents and/or media.

Every time a toll-free number is leaked to the general public, Disney changes it because it's not for the public. That's just the way it is. :upsidedow

But they should have an 800 number for international callers! How many times have you been on hold while you tried to make a ressie, modify something or just make your ADR's. My last phone call to WDW to fix a mistake on my ressie (not my fault) took 67 minutes:scared1: I should not have to build in an extra 50-100 of my vacation budget into long distance calls. I wish you had the option to leave your name and number and have somebody call you back. I would definetly do that except to make my ADR's:laughing:

If there's a way to save some time, headaches and/or $$ to book my vacation I will do so.

Honestly, using a regular number to book reservations can be quite costly if the days/times/restaurants don't jive with your plans and it takes additional time on the phone to make changes to your plans - which is costly !

Book reservations for restaurants online ?- how is this done?

Using a travel agent ?- they can't possibly make a split second decision when you 1st or 2nd choice of restaurant/day or time is not available

Like it or not, if there is a toll fee number leaked to the general public - I will use it to save my family some hard earned $$ better spent at the parks and not on the phone - that's just the way it is !

It's coming soon. Disney is in the process of upgrading their dining/tour/recreation program. Once complete, a BIG part of the upgrade will be the ability to book ADR's on-line. Also, the ADR's will coincide with your room reservation, so no more people holding two ADR's at the same time. :thumbsup2

But, I think lisalonglash was referring to making your room/package reservation on-line, as this is one of the reasons people need to call the (407) number.

Naturally, who wouldn't? I don't blame you one bit.

But, people shouldn't be complaining when Disney changes the toll free all the time to avoid this from happening. ;)

Now THAT is a great idea! The ADR system has been long abused. I think they should make you provide a CC for all reservations myself.

I totally agree. it was so hard to get the TS restaurants we wanted over the phone but we were able to go to the restaurant while there and get the table we wanted for the time we wanted the day we went! That's just plain stupid!

It has been abused and used for to long, if you read some of the people planning on the restaurant section. A while ago a lady was writing she booked multiple TS on the same day because she didn't know where her family was going to be on any given day, so she made sure she had a ADR in a few places. When she was dressed down for it, she basically said too bad there is no rule against it. People like that are just:headache: :headache: . The ME, ME, ME, the heck with everyone else mentality these days is sickening. Thankfully there is a rule now.

I have really cheap calling to the US so I never mind calling from home. But a co-worker of mine has to call during the day, from work, so she was very appreciative when I passed along the latest toll free number. :thumbsup2

As for the ADR's, I think it's great that they are linking them to room ressies now, but for those that would think to do the multiple ressies, they're also going to be the ones that think to book them under their spouses name, kids names, and say they are staying off site when asked. So I don't think Disney is going to eliminate the problem ... unless they only start taking ressies from resort guests, as an added perk? :confused3

I was able to get good dinner times for both Japan and Le Cellier for our trip in Jan, only booked last week ... so clearly WDW is hurting.

Well I guess it becomes clearer that they need to ask for CC numbers then as they already do for the Signature restaurants. For Disney Resorts they could link the ADR to the Bkg# and see duplicates, for off site..a CC would be the way to go. It isn't working as it is that's for sure!

The best deal I know is the one I have. It's a company called Wintel, and once they hook you up, you can call anywhere in the US and Canada for 25 cents a call, unlimited minutes. Amazing deal. No, I dont get any money for this plug, just trying to help out people who are paying way too much to call Disney (and yes, they should have a 1-800 number).

Disney shoudl have a toll free number sure.

But as you don't want to pay for all those changes to ADR's and last minute decisions.. neither do they.

And therefore they do NOT have a toll free number. Complain to Disney if you like, but whatever numbers are posted and shared here will be shut off within 30 days.

THAT .. is the way it is. :)
