Here I am at Lake Buena Vista Village and Spa (beautiful.....room was ready at 11-15am Monday).
Went to MK this morning at opening time.
Crowds very low.Walked on everything.
Temp about 76f at the moment.
Wife is shopping at LBV Factory Outlets....son is swimming...daughter is looking at Twilight forum, leaving poor old dad to fend for himself.
Flight down yesterday from YYZ uneventful on Sunwing. Arrived 20 mins early.
Even although the flight was 6-30am ,we had to clear customs at MCO (that was a bit of a bummer...although no problems).
Picked up a nice Chevy Malibu from the National Emerald Aisle (plenty to choose from).
Off to Studios tomorrow then Cirque tomorrow night.
Outback for dinner tonight.
Geez,,,,,I hate this place !:rotfl: :goodvibes :lmao: :thumbsup2

Glad to hear that you all had a good trip down and arrived safely. Weather sounds beautiful, and what a bonus that MK was so quiet today! Have fun at HS tomorrow, and please let us know what you think of Toy Story Mania. We're heading back to WDW in March and it's the only ride we haven't tried yet (our 13 and 12 year old daughters are really looking forward to it). Hope the crowds stay low and that you have a wonderful trip!!

Good start! just jumping on board...I love trip reports (yet I still haven't finished mine from aug 2007!!!)

Today is Thursday and we went to Epcot.
We didn't even have to get any fastpasses (it was all walk on ...no problem).
The weather is great (more like August.....85f and a bit humid).
Should be OK for tomorrow and Saturday (Saturday being the Super Soap Weekend at the Studios).
Then on Sunday and Monday it really cools down (thats OK ,we go home Monday morning anyway).
Tomorrow we are off to AK and at night we will be watching out of our balcony to see the shuttle take off to the east.
Went to Cirque last night (third time.....but still a brilliant show).
Dinner tonight at Bahama Breeze.

sounds like a lovely week. Weather here is YUCK! Pouring rain and cold. Keep an eye on your flight Monday as Toronto is calling for snow - an Alberta Clipper coming in late Sunday into Monday!

Are the Holiday decorations up all over the park? I thought they waited until after US Thanksgiving to set up the trees but wasn't sure.

Please tell Mickey and Minnie that we look forward to seeing them in March!

Look forward to hearing more.

AK on Thursday was fun.
Not too busy (but very warm....broke the record of 87f).

Today we were at the Studios.
It was the Super Soap Weekend.
It was crazy (but mannageable).Got fast pass for Kelly Monaco of General Hospital (my son was delighted with his photo with her).
After lining up at 7-30 am for the Soap fast passes,we realized all the rides were open. Walked onto to Rock.n.roll Rollercoaster and Tower of terror (before any non-soap folk showed up).
The weather was great last night for the Shuttle launch. We stood at the east end of the swimming pool and could clearly see it go up (even althou it was about 60 miles away).Awesome sight.
Tonight its Chillis for dinner and tomorrow (our last full day)its Epcot.

After you cleared Customs at MCO are they still making you pick up your bags over there and then putting them on another luggage carousel which means you pick them up a 2nd time in the main terminal? Also did you need to do go threw a 2nd security screening before getting to the tram, even though you went threw that in Toronto and were cleared threw Customs?

When we flew Canada 3000 to MCO we had to go threw all of that which is why we like flying Air Canada or WestJet, because you go threw all that in Toronto and not after you land.

Its hit and miss whether you clear customs at YYZ or MCO with Sunwing.
When we arrived at MCO we went through quite quicky at US Customs, picked up our cases and deposited them on a second conveyor (while we went by monorail). The wait time at the other end was only a few minutes (no biggie).

Well at least you did not mind it that much, because whenever we had to clear Customs at MCO it's not been that great. Although if we did not have to pick up our bags a 2nd time it might be a little bit better.

Our last full day (yesderday) at Epcot was great. Walked on to everything (at opening time).Walked the World Showcase.
While in the China Pavillion we saw a character form the Soap General Hospital (we had a visit to the Studios on Saturday for Super Soap Weekend.Saw all the soap stars....crazy ,but fun day.My son got his photo talken with Kelly Monaco).
I am now at MCO on my laptop looking out the window thinking this one week trip is nothing but a blur.
The weather has really cooled down. We were really lucky with 2 days earlier in the week where temperature records were broken (86f each day) but today its not going to go above 65f (apparently like this all week).
Anyway, another fun (albeit )short trip where everything was great (hotel, flights car rental ,parks and restaurants).

How is the pirate pool? Anything bad or good we need to know? We are staying at LBVRVS next month!!

There is nothing negative I can say about the Pirate Pool.
Its nice and warm, its has a zero entry area great for small kids, the slide is monitored by a lifeguard,it never seemed to be too busy.
Have a great time (i'm sure you will ,the suites are great).
Any other questions, give me a shout.

:grouphug: Safe trip home!!!! :grouphug:

Thanks !
Unfortunately I am already home :sad1:
Arrived back about 3pm after an uneventful (on time) flight on Sunwing.
We really lucked out and got the (extra leg room)exit row seats coming and going.
The regular seating 29" seat pitch on Sunwing...is a wee bit tight !
So...if you'll excuse me,I'll drag myself off to the couch to drown my sorrows and post-WDW depression with a Loblaws ice cream bar :guilty: :sad1:

Sounds good, the ice cream to beat the post trip blues....glad you had a wonderful trip and are home safe and sound!! Please write more when you recover and are rested!!!
