Hello Young Wizards! Time for us to say farewell to Spooky Bob, Jack Hallow and his friends. All the Hallowe'en decorations will be packed away until next year. If you have an unfinished Hallowe'en quests, they will disappear from your quest journal so finish them up tonight.

And now I'd like to introduce you to Harvest Hannah!

Earn Crowns!

Our community has asked us for a way to earn crowns rather than buying them, and we've listened!

Invite your friends to play Wizard101 and if they sign up from your invitation, you will BOTH receive a gift of crowns. Your friend will also receive a gift to help them get started in Wizard101.

Look for the 'Invite Friends' button in the game, or the 'Earn Crowns' button on the website.

To get these changes made, we must bring down the game AND the website. Wizard101 will be down starting at 3am Central time, Friday November 14th and will be offline for approximately 3 hours. We want to make sure we get every pumpkin!

Wizard101.com the website will be offline for a little bit during that window. You'll see a message telling to that the site is down temporarily, but don't worry, we'll be back up soon.

Thank you all, and I look forward to meeting all the friends you invite to Wizard101!

I wonder if they mean sign up for just an account or if it has to be a paid account.

Ok I must be daft but I can not see why someone would spend 1500 crowns on a head piece that really is just that a head piece. No extra card or powers. Now if they had a turkey spell that went with it maybe.

And you can not trade it or sell it back for say 1/3 the crown value.

That is my biggest beef with the game. Tired of putting money into crown costumes and getting no revalue in return.

So it looks cute but really why would you want to buy one other than liking the feather?

I completely agree. I was very interested in purchasing the Halloween items, and do like some of the Thanksgiving themed items, however I can't justify purchasing items I will likely only wear in non-combat areas, and changing clothes every time I move to or from a combat area to a non-combat area doesn't interest me.
