Hi
I just wanted to post the deal I got for staying in the cabins. You pay for 4 nights cabin and tickets, you get 3 nights free with tickets.

Jan 19-26
Cabin
Parkhopper tickets
2 adults, 1 child
$2018

Plus a $200 gift card to spend at WDW and I have almost $200 from my Disney Visa. So we are staying for less then we did 2 years ago (5 nights). :cool1:

Now, I am hoping that my health gets better so I can go!!!!!!!

Congrats- I got in on the deal as well. My family of 4 will be staying for 7 nights 1/12-1/19 for $2092 plus tix for 8 days. I am so excited! We have never stayed in the cabins before but have stayed in FW. My family loves it there so I know we are in for a great trip!!!:cool1:

I guess they figure we are getting a good deal already. Why does my bank account not feel the love? ;) (rv payment, insurance, disney fund, etc...)

It really does stink that you ALWAYS see these great deals for EVERYWHERE BUT the Fort. I don't understand that.

I understand it. It's called "money grubb'n",,I mean Disney.
The Fort STAYS busy, not the hotels,,,so as long as the Fort stays busy, they just raise the prices on the sites periodically and do a little rehab every 37 years. As long as we keep the Fort busy,, we'll never get any deals.

I think that about sums it up.

CRO basically said the same thing. The Fort is always full.

Sorry campers!!!! I know you must get frustrated being bypassed by the "deals".

I know what you mean.... I just made reservations in Feb and it was almost 100 a night. Why can't we get in on the good deals.

Actually, it would probably be a better deal to stay at a hotel b/c of gas etc... but we love our RV to much to do that! Plus, we wouldn't be able to take our kitty cat! Speaking of.... they wanted to charge an extra 5 a day for us to have our cat in our own rv! Next time we will say we have NO pet!

If the cat doesn't even leave the RV..why should you have to pay an additional fee. That just doesn't make sense. If you had a hamster would they charge for that also? Sheesh. :sad2:

Are you sure you are getting park hoppers? The 4/3 deal offers one-park-per-day tickets, not hoppers, unless you pay an additional amount to upgrade them.

If that price actually does include hoppers then it is an incredible deal! Congrats!

I know, the MIL wants us to go with her the second week in March and it is 89 for Thurs night and 91 for Fri and Sat night for FULL HOOK UP. (without taxes) Geesh. They are going to have to really rethink some things about prices, especially since these bookings are way down. I have never been able to find reservations three months out at the Fort, and yet, they hike up prices. What gives here?

This should have been extended to the campsites as well, it's not like the sites are cheap, I'm paying more for a one night stay in a campsite as my SIL is paying for one night at the Alstar movies.

With her special, she has came out 700.00 cheaper than my stay at FW...plus I'm having to buy my disney tickets, her's were free, so when it's all said and done, I feel screwed over .

I'm sick of hearing people say " well it's just a campsite so your really already traveling cheap", ya well that campsite cost me a cool 99.00 a night.:scared:

I think being that the sites are comparative to the price at the All Stars they should make the discount available to the campers as well.

Unfortunately, unless people stop visiting the Fort..they probably won't do anything about it. Who knows..with the increase in rates, they may start to see some cancelations.

With the price increases at the Fort I'm having a hard time convincing myself to book a site for next December. For only a few dollars more I can stay at a moderate with free dining thrown in. If Disney would just wake up and realize if they lowered the price and expanded the Fort a little many of us would visit more often and buy APs too.

Part of the reason I bought my camper was to take it to the Fort. But now I'm considering selling it due to lack of use and giving up on ever staying at the Fort.

Yes. I had to pay more for the hopper tickets. I don't remember the difference in price. So you can get an even cheaper deal if you do one park one day.

We had reservations for the Fort March 14-21st. When the deal came out, we switched to the POP March 14-22nd $200 less plus the $200 gift card. Haven't figured out the price difference on the gas (motorhome to van driving from southern pa) but to not have to cook, clean, or make beds makes this a vacation for me as well.

Just checked it....it would have been $1828 with out the hopper. Nice price. We are very happy. We spent about 2300$ for 5 nights last year. I think that was a deal too.
