How does the arcade card work?

I'm having trouble figuring out how the 30 minute game card works that's included in the 2009 packages. I think it's the points vs. minutes aspect that is confusing me! I mean, I know that 30 minutes of game play equals just that - 30 minutes of game play. I just don't understand why they didn't give a certain number of points on the card instead of the minutes. I'm wondering how they keep up with minutes when the arcades seem to be based on points...

Help? lol

That is weird! It's not a typo?

Maybe it somehow notes when you start your first game, and you have 30 minutes to play as much as you like...and then it stops working? I don't know!

I know! Isn't that strange??? It seems to me that it would be easier to do a points system! Like, put 30 or 50 points on the card.

Okay okay... I know I shouldn't be so stuck on this little detail, but... It's driving me crazy! lol

that has been bugging me too!! i can't seem to figure it out... but i want to know! LOL!

gigi1313 - It's always the little things, right??? I don't even know if we'll go to the arcade. I just HAVE to know!

bennythepug - Hopefully we'll get it straightened out so that he can rest easier! lol :goodvibes

Clotho - And it looks like you're going at such a great time! I want to go at that time next year just to see the Castle lighting ceremony thingie. (I never knew exactly what it's called.)

mbanks21 - Do you know if you have to use the minutes all at the same time, or can you use 10-15 minutes and then come back later and use the rest? (BTW, you're so helpful!)

Pretty sure you can use the minutes however you want. You can play 3 games at 10 minutes each if you want

Yeah DisneyDork, we have only ever been in September, so I can't wait to see the holiday decorations (and not sweat miserably the entire trip, running from air conditioning to air conditioning! LOL!)

It is just so strage (back on topic) to imagine doing minutes instead of credits, since the arcades work on credits. Wierd!

that's what i don't get... and how do they monitor minutes since the games are credits? like one air hockey game could take a full thirty minutes if both players are good, but you could play another game like basketball 15 times in that same 30 mins, kwim? and what about the arcades that give tickets for winning? how does that enter in?

Yep! I think that is what is just really throwing me off! lol I mean... How does the card know how long you've been playing? Mind boggling! :upsidedow

I'm happy to get 30 minutes though! :goodvibes

That's it!!! How do they monitor the minutes!

That's what I don't understand! Your example of air hockey vs. basketball is the perfect example of my confusion!

LOL! *wandering around in the dark*
Does anyone have a phone number associated with the promotion that can be called and asked?
