I'm planning a trip for my boyfriend and myself without our kids. :cool1: I originally was going to go Feb 5th to the 9th ( maybe 10th, I haven't decided if we need the extra day or not) but I was thinking of maybe going Dec 18th to the 22nd. What's universal like at Christmas time? Is it worth the extra money? Any experiences and pics would be greatly appreciated!!

My husband just LOVES Grinchmas. I didn't join him last year but I heard all about the Grinch show which he says is very cute, and you can also get your photo taken with the Grinch and the Whos (yes, he did that too). We're local, so he was probably over there half a dozen times around Christmas. I know he would highly recommend it.

The Grinch photo was great (well, having it done, the pic not so much). He is really into the character and does a great job on Jim Carrey's version of the Grinch.

I'm suscribing to this thread. I'm planning a trip for Christmas 2009. I was wondering how the crowds were that time of the year as well.

My youngest looks scared to death of the Grinch! :scared1:

Are there any hard ticket events there for the holidays? Or is it all just available during the regular hours?? Their site says info about the holidays is coming soon but I am trying to start making plans for our Thanksgiving/ early December trip.

If I remember correctly, there aren't any ticketed events at US or IOA in December. They have Grinchmas and the Macy's parade, but that's included with regular admission.

As Danimal stated...there are no hard ticket events during the holidays. The parade is great and shouldn't be missed.

TY OP for asking. We are doing this Christmas in Disney and are already planning on next Christmas at US I am so excited!!! Hoping the kids love it so we can do every Christmas at US!!
