Would anyone think about getting to HHN from 8 PM to 2 AM on a Saturday night?

We are arriving into Orlando on Saturday at 9 AM and have a choice of :

1) Going straight to US from the airport, staying all day at Universal right into HHN, and then checking into Disney after leaving Universal.

-- or --

2) Going to a Disney Park first, then checking in and then head over to US for HHN.

Since the park is open till 2am, we can get there at 8PM, save on parking, and be hopefully have a second wind to enjoy the evening

We are only down in Orlando a couple of days so Sat is the only day we can do HHN

Thanks !

If it were me...I would go ahead and check into the hotel and get everything settled before heading out. Otherwise, you'd have to do it after HHN which wouldn't be fun and VERY late.

It kinda depends on how much energy you will have after flying out etc. and how much you want to get done. Early in the season HHN was clearing out late at night. We ran over one night for the last two hours and did four houses plus stopped for pizza...the lines were almost non-existent). But we were there last night (remember, it was Columbus Day weekend), and between the crowd and the fact that they were selling $20 after-10 EPs the lines never, ever really died right up to the bitter end.

If you get to HHN early via Stay and Scream, you're almost guaranteed to get a bunch of houses done early on...then you can just leave early and go to Disney. Even if it's very crowded, you'll get a jump on the soundstages because they'll let you out of the pen early, and then you can hustle to Scary Tales and the Hallow and maybe even make it to Dead Exposure (do Scary first because it lets out by the Hallow entrance...then Hallow will let you out by the Dead Exposure entrance).

Thanks for the tips.

As long as we can check in early at early in Disney, I might go to HHN later that night.

Squeezing an afternoon siesta should provide the much needed second wind for HHN.

If we get lucky, the crowds may thin out later in the evening next Saturday. I usually prefer to get to the park late, deal with shorter lines and see more in less time.

This is usually what we do at the Magic Kingdom (EMH & Hard Ticket Events) when the park closes at 2 AM. It works out great for us since we take a break in the afternoon.

I would get there early. Saturday night at HHN is notorious for its never ending crowds and drunks.

I would get to HHN EARLY on a Saturday!!! All of the HHN express passes have already been sold out on every Sat except for Nov. 1st. Saturdays are packed, so get there early.

That's true but it seems there are individual EP's available and a discounted EP for use after 10pm for $25.00. Inkkognito had some of the individual EP's last night for $5.00 each.

I don't know if they always sell 'em and if there's a limit, but they are great! I bought 'em in a building near the inside Guest Relations area that had an Express Pass banner. Go in there and ask...don't rely on GS because one person told me they had 'em and another said there was no such thing. They're cool because you get to pick whatever houses you want so if a house has a short wait, you can run through that one and then go twice through a good one with a long line. They were $5 each last night but they might be more (if they even have 'em) on the nights with the pricier EPs.

The After 11 (not After 10) EP's are available at Guest Services near the front of the park.

kevin for last week, those tickets were the ep for after 10.

i was in line twice when someone presented them and the TM said, you can only use these ep at 10.
that was on saturday night at hhn.
