Help with CR garden wing

I booked this room today with a AAA rate:

Hotel
Disney's Contemporary Resort
Garden Wing - King (CG)

Two CMs could not tell me what view it has (standard or garden). Anyone know?

You will probably have a fence around the pool area to look at
in jan and feb or more

It's hard to say...

Strange that they didn't know if your view was 'standard' or not.
The garden wing is a great value, the cheapest way to stay on the monorail line... But, while some rooms have great water views (Bay lake is literally six feet away from your door) others have a view of the parking lot that makes it seem like a totally different hotel.

Mind if I ask what AAA rate you paid ?

There are rooms available on Expedia for a good price, and you can choose a standard view (read, parking lot) or a garden view, which is either the pool, marina or the lake.

Our king room had a view of Bay Lake.

$355.50, so I was really hoping it was garden! That price may include $25 for an extra adult. For some reason, the CR seems very booked up the 2nd week of May. I wanted 2 queens and could only get the king room.

Hmmmm. Just checked the rates posted on DU and they only have one category listed for the Garden View King, so maybe all of those rooms have a lake view? I hope so
