Comfort Suites near Universal

Which Comfort Suites near Universal would you recommend - Major Blvd. or Turkey Lake Rd.? Has anyone stayed at either of these? We usually like the Comfort Inn/Comfort Suites chain. Thanks!

Just got back from HHN the weekend of Oct 5. Dh and I stayed at the Comfort suites Universal area (major blvd). It was great. The hotel was clean and quiet. The staff were friendly and even called the room after an hour of checking in to make sure everything was okay in the room. The hotel is directly across the street from the entrance to Universal which is great. There are also a lot of food places very close as well (BK down the road, Wendy's you can get to by driving through the next hotels parking lot, there is also a Walgreen's very close). The free breakfast they had was also good. I have not stayed at the one on Turkey lake, but I would recommend the one on major blvd just for how close it is to everything.

I've stayed in the one one Major Blvd and wouldn't have a problem reccomending it. It was 4 yeas ago though. But it was clean and everyone was friendly and the pool was always empty meaning we had it all to ourselves

I stay at Major Blvd every time I do to Universal. Unbelievably easy to get to the parks and back to the hotel. You could walk but I wouldn't. It's probably a mile to the parking garage, then you have to walk to the parks and in the parks-alot of walking.
The hotel is nice and clean. The rooms have fridge and microwave. The pool is small but nice to cool off. I would not hesitate to stay there again.

Does the hotel have a shuttle to Universal?

I walked when I stayed. Maybe took 15 mins to get there and we joined Citywalk at the valet parking part.

That hotel itself didn't have a shuttle but a there was a shuttle that stopped at a lot of the hotels next to it and was free for us to use at that time.

I was going to stay at the one on Major but they wanted 12000 points per night and the one on windover wanted 6000, so I chose that one. But they are both close so I think you will be very happy with any choice hotel in that area.

Their webpage says they do have a shuttle to Universal & Sea World if you want to use it. We plan on using it next summer.

I stayed at Days Inn Caravan Court off Major Blvd for the HHN opening night. I could see the parking garage from the pool. For those that stayed there before they no longer have the 24 hour Dennys. It's now a Tabla's Indian Cuisine. Well at least Cracker Barrel's 50 ft. away
