I'm angry.
I came home to find my sister wearing black nail polish. She has been banned from nail polish because she makes messes that cannot be cleaned up. The only way she could get the polish would be to find the key and open up the case.
Then, I went to go take a shower. Guess what, it reeked of nail polish removed. She couldn't bare to 1) Take it outside or 2) Remove the polish pads and put them in the outside garbage bin.
Now, she's used my (brand new!!!) mascara. When I asked her why, "Because I wanted to". We've gone through this before, she knows she needs my permission to go in my room. Granted, I've barged into her room, only because she ends up with all my clothes in her closet.

I'm cranky now. My parents won't put a lock on our doors, safety hazard. Anyone got any tips?

Have you tried like hiding it somewhere.Or putting somewhere she can't reach. That is the only thing i can think of.Or like hiding it in your closet?

i wouldn't really care to be honest. :confused3 its not like shes going to use it all or ruin it, really. so whatevs.

Do you have a box with a lock on it? If you do, put your make up in there.

Just an idea.

Yep, that's where it was. She had to 1) Find the key and then open it. I'm frustrated.
Alex, she's taller than me! It's not going to work.

What frustrates me is she doesn't understand the "If it's not yours, don't touch it without permission. If you don't know if it's yours, don't touch it".

Have you considered using angry hornets?

I honestly don't know. I don't have any siblings. Sorry D:

Well I have a little brother, and I think if he was touching my make-up we'd have other issues.
xD

But yeah, its my older sister who uses all of my stuff on a daily basis.
Its very annoying.
I try to hide my stuff in drawers under clothes.

Sonya!

I didnt know you had a sister!

I honestly dont know. I am the younger child an I have a brother... i think to keep her satisified you give her your old makeup and pretened its the most amazing stuff ever.

That ALWAYS worked for me.

Hmm..Maybe have your parents give her a talk on "respect of someone's things" and see how that goes.
I'm sorry your sister did that. :/

About a year or two ago my cousin got into my make-up.
She accidently spilled out 3 things of nail polish, crumbled up my eyeliner pencil, spilled out half of my foundation, and messed up my powder.
I was SO mad that she got into my stuff, and ruined it. I had to finish what was barely left before my mom bought me new make-up.

My brother uses my skincare stuff all the time (weird, I know but hey).

He doesn't seem to realise that I buy that stuff, and I save up for it and make sure I have enough each month to keep it stocked up.

When he uses it, I just talk to him like an adult. He kept doing it the other week tho, so I bought him his own stuff (I bought cheaper versions though). It's working atm and there is peace in the bathroom.

Can't you buy a combination makeup box thing? So you have a code, just don't make it something obvious like 111 or 123..

Meh, I'm the sort of person who doesn't put boundaries on my makeup.
I share it with my mother, and if I had a sister, I'd probably share it with her too.
I don't really know what's mine anymore, nor do I really care. I don't wear it often enough aynways.

I don't think I'd be mad if I had a little sister who took my make-up.
Me and my mom usually share our make-up, but I use a different kind of cover up than she does, she has fair skin, and I'm tanner. lol

Well...my younger sibling is a boy, so if he was using my cosmetics..I'd be worried. :p

But I do have an older sister who LOVED to steal my tank tops and things. But we shared it, so I didn't mind.

Maybe ask your mom to get your sister her OWN make-up? :confused3 Even though your family, it doesn't seem clean to be borrowing mascara, IMO.

Honestly, why is it such a big deal? My little sister has taken many many things from me, and guess what, its all replaceable! Maybe your little sister has gotten interest in makeup? Why not have a makeup night? You can put the makeup on her?

But really, don't let yourself get bent out of shape.

HAHA !
Same with me !

I have a bathroom full of make-up. Me and my little sister share a bathroom, and yes, this does happen to me.
My little sister, Cassie, messes around with all my make-up without either closing the lid, or bringing it back. I
don't mind if she uses them, by putting them back, and not waisting the whole thing. It depends on how I get
annoyed. Just be honest and tell your sister the truth.

LMAO! :lmao:

Same here. lol

Well i'm not aloud to wear make-up anyway cause my mom doesn't want me to wear it.
