I am SO sorry.

I am a traitor to the DISboards.

I like Busch Gardens (The one in VA)MUCH more then I like disney, I do.

Please dont kick me off the boards, let me just explain.

Reasons why I like it more:

1. Closer - Yes, that always helps, my parents will be more willing to go to it, and theres a bigger chance.

2. Its very "green"- Okay, so before you start attacking me with the whole "OMG DISNEY IS GREEN" let me say this. In disney, there is junk ALL over the pathways, they may use those paper straws in AK, but BG is SUPER green. I mean they have trashcans EVERYWHERE *along with recycling*. Not only that, but people actually RESPECT the place.

If someone drops something on the floor thats trash, 9 times out of 10 they pick it up and throw it away. Its SUPER clean. You can attack this post as many times as you want, but its true and i dont want you attacking it, if youve never been (im not sure how africa is, but im talking about europe).

3. Its less crowded - Dontcha just love it when theres not a HUGE crowd? Yes there is TONS of people, but its not like disney where you rub against someone every 30 seconds

4. Its less expensive - Pretty much explains itself

5. Friendly - I dont mind saying this...There are some RUDE people at disney, there are a LOT of rude people. I did NOT notice any rude people at BG, in fact, i actually made friends multiple times wile standing in line for a ride.

6. Decorations - Ive never been to Mickey's not so scary halloween party, but WDW is open all year. BG is only open during the spring-fall, and during the fall its only open on weekends. Yet they are CRAZY about their decorations. I mean CRAZY. Fog machines/ghosts in about every tree/cobwebs all over the place..you name it. It was there.

7. Rides - In my opinion, theres a better vairity of rides. You have the classics along with some famous rollarcoasters, along with little fun things.

8. Parents - My parents hate disney, so anytime im at disney, i get to have the joy of hearing them whine the ENTIRE time, yesterday..I did NOT get that. Infact, all i kept getting was "Thats awesome! Lets go check that out".

9. Trees - There is a TON of grass, trees, flowers. There ARE those in disney, but disney just seemed so dry and dull looking when it came to that. This is PACKED with nature. I mean PACKED.

Take me to a dark alley.
Beat me up.

Im sorry, but I need to tell you guys the truth.
Im not saying I hate disney, or dislike it. I still love it, but i like BG more.

Edit :
So does this mean I should leave the boards?

i went to busch gardens this summer and i thought it was amazing too.
the griffin is the coolest ride ever.
but i still love disney.
XD

It's okay Mouse we're not going to kill you! xD
I've been there before, and it's fun, but nothing compares to Disney IMO. But it's okay, we're all intitled to our own opinion. :)
I didn't like it much because I hate big roller coasters, and that's all I remember there being. At Disney there's something for everyone, including chickens like me.

I love the europe busch gardens too.

I went for my second time over the summer.

There are like no lines, compared to six-flags and disney, I waited 10 minutes to get on the most popular ride, griffen. While at Disney and Six-Flags I wait about two hours to ride Kingda Ka.

and the park is super clean! :D

XD

Its cool..but it scares the jeepers out of me.

I liked The big bad wolf and Loch-ness monster the best.

That first drop made me cry!

The entire way down i screamed to my best friend "IIIII HHAAATTEEE YOUUUU" *because she forced me to ride it* but after that drop...everything was fine. xD

Geez. Never talking to you again.

xD just kidding.
You can have your opinion.

It's just wrong :teeth:
Haha.

Hey I'm going to Busch Gardens in VA next year!!! Awesome! Maybe I'll see you! :)

Nah, you aren't a traitor. I still will talk to you. :thumbsup2

Yup, there was this ride...and it took us 4 minutes to wait in line for it, and thats when the line was going out the door!

It was pretty snazzy.

I went for its "Howl-o-scream' party, and THAT...was amazing.

I kept trying to talk to the werewolves and make them laugh.

I bumped into a zombie..and he was like "OH MY GOD, im sorry little pretty lady, are you okay?" "yeah im fine" "are you sure?" "yes im fine, im sorry i didn't see you there' "oh its okay i mean..i mean..ROAR" xD

His voice was SO hot.
I wanted to see his face, to know who i bumped into ;)
plus..he called me pretty!

No you should not leave the boards!
Everyone has their own opinion of Disney!

I have a big heart for Universal Orlando. I even had an AP for 2 years there. :ssst:

:ssst: Psst, me too, I've probably been there almost as much as I've been to Disney...

I love going to any theme park, I'm a huge theme park junkie, but Disney will always be my #1. :) Just that whole magical feeling you get when you go there is just unbeatable. I know that's totally cheesy, but Walt Disney did say he liked cheese. ;)

No Mouse you need to leave right now.
We are never speaking to you ever ever ever again.
*IS BEING SARCASTIC*
:rotfl:

Dude its cool.
I love Universal, maybe not more than Disney but its totally awesome.
I like the hotels at Universal better than some at Disney.

I think that it's okay to like BG more than Disney; it's your own opinion.

I personally like Disney the best out of all theme parks. I'm also really sorry you encountered rude people while at Disney; I've never run into any rude CMs.

No not CM's, CM's are amazing.

Its the guests that are rude.

I've never been to Busch Gardens so I can't really comment.
I just know that nothing could ever be better than disney to me.

But no, you shouldn't leave for having an opinion.

Ah, yes.
I know what you mean.
Especially the women that push themselves through the crowd with a stroller.

YES.
Or even worse..an EMPTY stroller that just has bags in it.
Then she has her kid on a friggon leash.

In fact i think i was the rude on at BG :(
because i was afraid that since i left my bag on the ground to go on a ride *it was close* that someone was going to take it as soon as the ride stopped, so everyone was calmly walking towards the exit and i ran but a lady came out of no where and i bumped into her.

I said "Oh my goodness! Im SO sorry, i didn't see you there. Are you alright?"
and the response i got back was "Im alright, its okay :)"

but now im kinda more trusting with my bag.

I thought someone would've taken it, but it was still there.

Even if i was worried, they have lockers near each ride that you can get for like...25 cents.

Thats honestly what I thought.

Until i went there and i fell in love.

other than #8 I compleatly agree
their food is better too

although.... there was a brazilian tour group XD
one of them started talking to me on line for alpengiest and he got wayyyy in my face without meaning too

I have to agree to an extent! I haven't ever been there but on that note, I am a HUGE fan of Universal studios. Disney is awesome too, however alot of the rides don't cut it for me. I like the big coasters. EE and RRC just don't cut it. They're fun, but arent too thrilling for me. I like more intensity.

Plus it is cheaper, and less little kids and babies! Thats the one thing I HATE. These parents push around their baby hoping that they'll remember the trip. Biggest BS I've ever heard. My kids won't be going till they can appreciate it. I'm mean, why bring 2 screaming toddlers inside the park? Especially when its hot? Totally cruel.

Ok rant over. I bet alot of moms here would be horrified of what I just said. :D

I don't really like Disney all that much. The place - not the movies and such.

It's too hot, too humid, and too crowded. I like Silver Dollar City in nearby Branson better than WDW, to be completely honest.
