Hello everyone!! If you've read my past 3-4 PTR's and TR's, then you may remember that I was taking a TR break! I did 4 back to back and then had to prepare for DS starting Pre-K. I really didn't think we would be able to book another trip in February due to the fact that we did 2 trips in 2008 (Feb & May) and because DS would now be in school, but someone...somewhere....just knew that we needed a little pixie dust! So, WELCOME to my next Pre-Trip Report. Let's get this party started...........
With all the happenings the past few months, I am super excited to say that we are booked for another WDW vacation.
DS started pre-k in August and that was a huge adjustment for all of us. We had to evacuate for 2 hurricanes which took a lot out of us. We are re-modeling our kitchen....or really, we completely ripped out our kitchen and are starting over. Due to 2 hurricanes, pre-k madness, and the fact that my mothers home got 2 feet of water inside, the kitchen remodel has been moving S-L-O-W-L-Y!!! We've put most of it on hold while we tend to my mothers house.
Needless to say....WE NEED A VACATION!!
February is our favorite time to visit WDW. Low crowds, the weather is nice, shorter lines, and everyone's temperment just seems happier! This is the time we usually go but since DS is now in school we probably won't be able to do February any more. Being as though this year is pre-k, we've decided to do one last February trip. YAY!!!
We are also booked for a Disney Cruise in June 2009! It was originally a "Land/Sea" package. When we realized that we are in desperate need of a vacation BEFORE JUNE, I got to thinking about how HOT it is going to be at WDW for the land portion of that trip. That's when we came up with the idea to cancel the land portion of the June trip. We are still going on the cruise (4 nights) but now we have funds to book a trip in February too!!
Here are the details and introductions for our February 2009 trip:
Feb 7-13th (6 nights) staying at OKW in a 1 bedroom villa. (our favorite place to stay!) We are on the "regular" Dining plan, and I've already made MOST of our ADR's....I'll get to that a little later.
Me(35) - Stay at home mom/Soccer Mom/ Disney vacation planner. I am very involved in my son's school. I'm there pretty much every day volunteering for one thing or another. I LOVE IT!!!
I am also domestic CEO of this household. 
I also belong to our local film group and have fun feeding my other addiction....acting and filmmaking.
DH(38)- Works super hard which allows for me to be able to be a stay at home mom. Also loves to work in the yard and be involved in DS's school activities when he can. Over the past 4 trips he has also become a Disney addict. He is just starting to get to the point of telling other people. (He was in the closet for years!)
DS(4)- LOVES taking trips to WDW. Favorite characters/movies are Cars, & Toy Story and loves anything to do with those. Last trip I swear we must have rode Buzz Lightyear at least 84,000 times! He just started pre-k this august and is loving it!! Oh, and he just told me last week that he MUST be Buzz Lightyear for Halloween. I ordered the costume from disneyshopping.com yesterday. Can't wait to see him in it!

Oh I forgot to mention that for every trip I create a new planning binder. (told you I had issues) This is the binder for our land/sea vacaton. I made the picture on the cover, although now I guess I should change it since we aren't doing the land portion anymore.
There WILL be a binder for the February trip. I have to go get a new one and decorate it. I will be posting pictures of it later.
