What is the food like please?
just like laura posted, basic breakfast foods.
plenty of it.
some people have said they loved it, thought it was ok, or did not like it.
anytime you do a breakfast buffett and have to have the heating trays full of food for the guests, some of it will be sitting there for awhile before it is used. it depends on the time it was filled up to the time you went to the buffet counter.
if you find the bacon is dried out or too greasy, tell the hostess you want a fresh batch of bacon and not from the warming tray that is out.
same goes for the eggs/biscuits.
they will do that for you.
it is not a problem.
any food that sits out on warming trays will not have that "fresh taste" if it has been sitting there for the last 20 minutes, especially biscuits.
(i think the reason some people have complained that the food was not to their liking is because of the length of time it has been out.)
don't let that ruin your time there.
ask the hostess for fresh eggs, biscuits, bacon, etc.......
i'm speaking from experience here. they were happy to do that for me and i only had a short wait for the "fresher" food.
and, if you don't want to pay extra for juice, tell the hostess no when she asks do you want orange juice.
i learned the hard way on that.
i didn't look over the paper before i went.
hope you enjoy the interactions there with the characters!
it really is one of the better character meals we have done.
that one on one contact is fantastic.
and one more thing, if your child wants more time with spidey, thing, cat, etc, don't be shy.
go to the hostess and give her a heads up on what would make your kid happy and have more time with the characters.
with the full costumes they are wearing, they can't always see clearly to the side of some they might have missed.
they can see straight ahead great but turning around in those costumes sometimes aren't as easy.
