Photos of recent stay at CSR as promised--finally

Some may be repeats from my report, but I couldn't remember all that I had posted earlier.

Thanks for the pictures. We leave in two days for our first stay at CSR. We have visited the resort to eat at the Pepper Market a few times. But I am really exicted about our first stay there. Your pictures just added to my exitement. Were the crowds really as non existant as your pictures showed?

It looks so beautiful. We saw some of it last Tuesday when we went for dinner at the Maya grill, so we went ahead and booked it for the same week next year. I think these boards are becoming a bad influence, I never book vacation before finishing the one I'm on.

Yes, the crowds were really as non-existent as the pictures show--at the parks and the resort. A huge convention came in the Saturday night/Sunday morning before we left (we left on that Tuesday) and except for seeing them in the morning going to their meetings and sitting at the Laguna Bar around 10:30 at night, we hardly saw them at all. DH and I used the hot tub two nights while they were there, and DH and I had it to ourselves for awhile both nights, and then we only had two or three other people in it with us. We also took a dip in the Dig Site pool around 9:30 one night while they were there and there were maybe 8 of us in the pool (even during the day--I never saw more than 25 - 40 people in the pool).

It looks so beautiful. We saw some of it last Tuesday when we went for dinner at the Maya grill, so we went ahead and booked it for the same week next year. I think these boards are becoming a bad influence, I never book vacation before finishing the one I'm on.

Too funny. But I'm glad that you liked the resort when you went to dinner. You'll be lucky--by the time you go next year the upgrades should be done or near done.

No, I'm sorry, I don't know which will be done first (not sure what section they are starting with). I doubt an entire section will be done by November 8 as there are over 2200 rooms. But I know that only one building (NOT section) at a time will be closed down while they are doing the rehab.

Sorry...we don't use the buses, we rent a car. We have had a lot of people that have been at the resort when we have that they had no more than a 10 minute wait for a bus. I know a couple of people have done a review lately saying the buses were pretty good. You are going to get good and bad bus service at any resort, I'm afraid.
