Ink managed to get some much better screen shots of the video so I have changed them to the better ones.

It still is rather lovely to look at, but I don't know if I am digging the flat look.
I'm wondering if we are going to not be 3-D? 2-D? Which is it?

we do look flat, but it does look nice.

the backgrounds are incredible looking. the interface looks clean. The mini games look spectacular and the in game videos look awesome :thumbups2

They're showing up now. Backgrounds/environments look awesome! Still not too sure about those avatars/NPCs though...

Hmm I am a little confused, some graphics look 3D and really detailed, yet others are almost coloring book like lol. I wonder ( hope ) the game will be more 3D! Artwork is spectacular and wouldn't it be nice if our characters matched that artwork!

I agree, those graphics are amazing! But somehow.... the characters don't seem to fit in those beautiful scenes ??? Almost like they were created in a different program and then pasted in.... They are very flat and cartoonish in appearance whereas the background scenes are gorgeous 3-D... I don't get it.

I so hate to be negative, I know we all have such high hopes for this game. I have loved the artwork right from the beginning - they have some wonderfully talented artists creating some gorgeous backdrops.

But... for me personally, the avatar in any virtual game is the most important element. Not sure I'm going to be really happy with a game where I'm a flat cartoon person... not matter how beautiful that beach is....

I was thinking the same thing. It looks like one of those little kid toys where you can peel and stick things into a book.

It looks great and all but things have changed alot in my life recently and I can't play this game anymore with my shedule. I only joined to replace VMK but I don't have any intentions of ever actually playing either of them anymore.

I can deal with a flat looking avatar but hope that can be improved as the game developes. Love most of what I see. Ok, I'm hooked and ready to go.
