Anyway... I scared to death of the TOT too. I rode it on our honeymoon multiple times. But now with little kids and a scared big one? Not so fun.
The kids still talk about it. You should have bought the shirt like B did to show she survived the ride.

Maybe I posted it on the TFW I did give you points when you were first ... and a Sandwich that Sara made... but you said no sandwich? Remember ??
I am glad that I am not alone on this whole ToT thing. None of us "less desirables"( aka those that are not getting drowned in Fla. right now) seem to like it.

O.K. I am slightly nervous about what I may be facing at Chef Mickey’s.. I mean after all it is very popular with the under 10 crowd and Up until now we have always been able to get early "ressies" but tonight we could not get in till 8:00. I have seen the lines and those waiting ss we are leaving .. when we have 4:30 –5-30 reservations.
So I will consider myself lucky IF WE GET IN BY 9:00
We also have our special guest dining with us.. "Flower" is planning to meet Mickey tonight and I think she is nervous. She was doing a "practice Kiss

with "Pal Mickey"

We walk in and have our picture made.. and take a seat..

I can only snap one picture before our little buzzer goes off.. however, we did not need the buzzer…THERE IS NO ONE HERE ??!!! (This is weird) We walked right up to the table and met a hostess from Not far from where I grew up.. she was from Kenova.. also where Michael W Smith is from. Now while the restaurant was not busy they sure did have our area full.. We were in the BACK.. never been there before.. never want to be again. But on the Positive.. VERY POSITIVE SIDE.. our waitress Marian from Ricketts Glen, Pennsylvania. ( Janet... where is that ??)
She was SO SO SUPER I would ask for her again.. hopefully she is still there when we go back.
Now if you have never been to Chef Mickey’s.. it is in the Contemporary (that triangle building that the monorail goes through)

As A child… I remember seeing that Building when They showed images of Disney World and thinking I want to stay there one day. Still have not.. but I have dined there.

The Menu is very Kid friendly and food is pretty good on the adult level. Best thing about it is it is a buffet and IF you are still hungry when you leave.. it is your fault. Kids menu items have the usual. Pizza, Mickey shaped Mac n cheese, Chicken tenders. Salads, Cheeses, Shrimp Cocktail, and carved meats. These can vary.. but I must say I love the ribs.. and I HATE RIBS. The have them for sure on Saturday’s. Today is Thursday.. they have Turkey and Roast Beef tonight.

Mickey Mouse, Goofy, Minnie, Donald, Pluto are the characters.. But Chip and Dale are Gone. Maybe they got a bigger gig somewhere??
I introduced Flower to Marian and told her the story about the "crocs’s". She thought she deserved a "Birthday Celebration" so she got a cupcake for "Flower" and lit it during the "Birthday Celebration" time.

Then, she took her on a Tour of the Kitchen.
Flower learned some of "Goofy’s Secret Ingredients".

Checked the ingredients for freshness.

Learned how to make some "Mixed Drinks"…

and Apparently Sampled a few as she needed a Nap.

She recovered just in time to meet the Big Guy him self… Mickey Mouse…

She was almost to excited to eat after that.. so she just ate some fruit...
(A vegeterian "croc" )
And ... I had better mention Donald.. you know how sensetive he gets....

And Last.. But not least… our Wonderful Waitress, Marian posing with "Flower"

Oh.. then Uh... Marian brought "Flower" some "Birthday Balloons"and the Check...

I guess I forgot to tell her we were on the DDP....
So Flower had to do DISHES......​

It is ALWAYS FUN.. dining at "Chef Mickey’s". (this time doing the DDP.) but this was the BEST EVER. Could have been "Flower" but.. it I believe it was definitely our Waitress. MARIAN

I DID NOT get our Yearly Picture at all this year at Chef Mickey's.
2 of them were HORRIBLE ( ME) and one we never got to see..

I'm glad you had a great meal at Chef Mickey's. We went there last year with the girls and they loved it. Not going back this year, but that's only because we're not doing the dining plan. We're hoping to save some money and do some cooking in the villa.
