it was right around this time that i realized my camera battery was getting low. don't worry - i had a spare. the only problem is that my spare was BURIED in our bookbag. so i tried to conserve on my pictures from this point on because i was NOT going to miss a picture of tink!

anastasia.....you'll see in the video that she comes right up to me and poses, but since my battery was low i couldn't get the camera to work. it took the pic as she was getting frustrated and walked away pouting!

now this is where the parade started getting GOOD! not that i don't enjoy princesses....i do. but the pirates are just more exciting!

this boat was soooooo cool! you'll see in the video that someone who i think is supposed to be will turner is looking down straight at luke and waving at him and then he salutes him.

these guys were awesome! they had swords and would dance around and then fight a little. it was really cool.

captain jack was sort of gesturing for the crowd to cheer for him. people were screaming like they were at a concert!

and HERE SHE IS!!!!!!!! i knew that tink would be in this parade and that's honestly what sold me on coming to the party. i love me some peter pan, but you NEVER see tink unless she's a hundred feet in the air flying off the castle. she's so elusive! so i wasn't going to miss seeing her! and it was SO EXCITING!!!! she was so cute!

okay.....so here are the videos. there's 10 in all....none more than 2 minutes long. i hope you enjoy the parade as much as we did!





















SUCH a great parade! we all really enjoyed it. if you ever get a chance to go to this party, go! even if it's just to see the parade and the fireworks!

after the parade we decided to head back to adventureland because we hadn't gotten any jewels yet and the rumor was that's where you find them. on the way we ran into this guy dressed as davy jones. he was a guest, not a CM, and people were getting his autograph! the lady with him is supposed to be the chic from the movies.....i can't remember her name!

up next time.....the best fireworks show i've ever witnessed, hands down! i was completely amazed at this show. there aren't words to describe to you how great it was.....really!

Ok Dawn, after seeing your pics and video, I REALLY want to go to the P&P Party! That parade looks awesome! The pirate part was especially cool and Tink was so cute! If the parade was that great, I can't wait to hear about the fireworks!!!

Great job capturing the P&P party! I was there on the 2nd night, although I was sick, it was an amazing parade! LOVED IT!

Thank you for sharing the parade with me. I'm not sure I would ever get down there to see it. Tell Ray that pooper scoopers are people too and they just want some of the "waving love" that the Princesses do. Love Tinderbell. I want to be Tinkerbell? She's just too cute and you're right about NEVER seeing her unless she's flying over your head.
Have fun in Nashville. I wish I lived close to a fun city like Nashville. What do I have ummm Detroit?

what's your impression of that town? brooke said that jon got them an apartment on the river that used to be a warehouse and they've renovated it into condos. sounds pretty cool, but you never can tell with things like that. i was surprised to learn that it's not a normal thing to have air conditioning up there. that's unheard of here. of course we're in the deep south, but i'm sure it gets rather warm up there during the summer months. luckily they found a place with centrail heating and air because my sister would DIE if she didn't have it!

It is an up and coming city. It is unheard of for air conditioning, we have a lot of window units, but there will definately be heat! (But if it is a renovated warehouse into condos...I am sure there probably will be a/c) I can do some research for ya...
She might miss the warmth of the south, and hate the snow of the winter...but she might like it for its beauty!

I'm not sure if this was the parae that we only got the chance to see the top of as they were passing by (behind a huge crowd), but whatever it is it looks like it was great! You guys look like you had an amazng time.

I laughed when you guys had the glow things becuase my DH had an obsession with glowing stuff on our trip. He called them his flashydooda's and would light up his head, backpack, anything he could find to light up. It was hillarious I also found it adorable because it was his first time in Disney andhe was just acting like a big five year old.

Keep the updates coming. I'm really enjoying reading aboutyour trip. So exciting that you get to go again soon. I just got back and already want to return. I could live there and never get bored.

thanks!!!she's moving to a town called norwich. it's southeast of hartford.

I'm probably an hour from Hartford

i was surprised to learn that it's not a normal thing to have air conditioning up there. that's unheard of here.

I will say this summer we probably only used our central air about 4 nights. It goes down at least in to 60's where I am of course during those nights where it was above 75, I told DH put the AC on please.

It looks like the tongue piercing thing hurts Will he always have a hole there? I guess your ears never close up but I had heard the tongue heels itself. Maybe Anna can rent him out for parties

Love the parade pictures and videos. I always cry when i watch any Disney parade video, so of course I did with this one. I love Tink too. She was so cute in the beginning when she was pouting. She looked really tiny on the video, was she? I have so many times I want to go down to WDW now I just added Halloween.
