Kids Baskets Delivered to the ship

Can anyone tell me if there are company's that will deliver the Dsiney kid baskets to the ship I know they do this at the Resorts but I do not know about the ships. If there is can you tell me about your experince with them I mean do you get your money's worth and are the delivery charges outragous

Many cruisers use http://theperfectgift.cc which belongs to Snelsonbrown who posts on this site. Her stuff is lovely. Disney charges the outside companies $12.50 per for delivery because they want you to buy their stuff instead.

I also recommend The Perfect Gift. Shirley (the owner, and a DIS'er) works in amazing ways. She is a true angel, and is willing to work SO much with you (the customer)..

we are sailing Oct 30 over Halloween and was wandering if they do Halloween Disney baskets or if it's just kind of standard I can not get a lot of info from the websit about what all they offer. Betsy Baskets are a little out of my price range

Baskest can be done for any specific theme. Shirely will work with you for your budget. She can basically do from A to Z..

REally, you should call her. I think this way you could discuss it, and see if it really is what you are looking for.

How expensive are they?

They range in price and Shirley worked out exactly what we needed within our price range. But these ranged between $30 and $75 (plus the delivery fee), I don't remember the exact price of each.

Just call her. She will ask your budget and make suggestions. She has done wonderful baskets for my DD on each of our 3 cruises. She was awesome in helping me come up with stuff to put in a basket for a 12 year old!

I JUST got off the phone with Shirley - you all weren't kidding, she was FABULOUS!! She's doing sand buckets for my three boys DS 8, DS 6 and DS 5 and I can't wait to see them. It was a little spendy - $160 but I did have her decorate the buckets with their names (extra $7 per). The delivery fee is $12.50 per basket, but she was going to tie two of them together so it would only count as two deliveries for all three, so that saved a little bit. We sail this Sunday so I'll try and get a picture up on here after we get back.

We are sailing over Halloween also, but on the Magic. I ordered gift baskets from the perfect gift (shirley). I asked if she could do a halloween theme...she said no problem. I can't wait to see how it comes out.

I have used the pefect gift one other time, when we cruised over Easter. Shirely made a GREAT Easter theme 'bucket' with sand toys, candy, stuffed animals & small sodas. The sodas and candy were 'perfect'... for the kids to take to the movie theater.

Good morning - to those that called the past several days, please know I was not ignoring you - Norm and I were trying to make sure the shop and outside were cleaned of anything and everything that could cause a problem or blow away especially all our bird and squirrel feeders, lawn chairs, pottery etc that can disappear in high winds. Don't know what today will bring, but I am sure all will turn out fine.
Now for the baskets - I do not know if anyone realizes that we have only gone up in our prices one time in all the years we have been doing business -
everyone knows everything has gone up in cost, but I chose to not do so.
The reason I chose to give the option to have the baskets decorated was simply because I know many kids had theirs taken and it just didn't seem fair.
The gift containers that are decorated take about an hour or so choosing the right things to put on it, all the different colors to blend it AND REMEMBER I am not an artist that can slap it on in seconds- there are many times I shop for different stuff that I just don't carry AND numberous of times I go from store to store to store to find the real thing - also remember what DCL charges for delivery - I charge $1.00 for delivery even if it is one or two basket and that is what it has been for almost a number of months, but have never complained. Now remember I am not fussing at anyone for those that know me, know I am not that kind of a person -
Anyhow thanks for being so great with me especially over the past couple of months dealing with the death of 2 family members and now trying to decide how to protect the shop with all the rain on its way.
