I can't believe it made the news in England...

Glad to hear all is well. Fox news said we felt it here in Vegas.
I didn't feel anything.

Now the one that happened in the Mojave Desert 10 years ago, that's another story!!! Jolted me right out of bed at 2am!!

I hope Wendy is in labor today.

Wendy needs to finish some stuff at work before she starts her leave.

She hopes she's NOT in labor today....every time she doesn't answer her cell, I leave a message asking her if she's in labor...

I'm glad you all are well - I lived in Chino Hills when it was just a tiny 'burb in the 80's and 90's and went to high school at Chino High - what a trip to hear it talked about all over the news yesterday!

It was wierd to hear that was the epicenter. There are so many faults in CA, I'm surprised we haven't fallen in the ocean yet.

I guess it's one of those things about earthquakes that most people in CA know about.

Most dry cleaners out here are Asian...go figure...

There was a period right after the Whittier earthquake in 87 that there were a ton of aftershocks. I would sleep right through them.

Usually you wait about 5 seconds to see how bad it is before making a move under a table.

He said "where were you running to? It's not like you can get away from him!!"

Glad you guys are all ok. I heard about it last night & my first thought was.... wow maybe that will induce Wendy into labor!!

Have fun at camp Jordan. One of my favorite summers as a kid was spent at a church horse camp. We had a blast.

I've gone to church family camp every year from birth til I was 24 and I started going again 3 years ago. I have a blast every year and learn a ton...

I was on the freeway and the back end of my car fishtailed. I thought I had blown a tire then heard on the radio that there had been an earthquake.

Depending on the type of earthquake, sometimes you can see the ground rolling..it's soooooo trippy.

So when we last left you, part of the group was having lunch (or trying to have lunch) at CHH.

Derek, Wendy and Erin had a special alone time lunch at Cinderella's Royal Table.

A picture of the inside of the restaurant. I think I've mentioned before that CRT used only be a character meal for breakfast. Because of the overwhelming demand, they expanded it to all 3 meals. This bums me out since I don't really do character meals, but LOVE CRT.....

We went to CRT for lunch on our honeymoon (11 years ago) and it wasn't a character meal. I've never taken my girls there. We went to the princess breakfast at the Norway pavilion in Epcot back in 2005, did 1900 Park Faire in 2007 and we're doing Norway again in October. Of course, DH decided that he didn't need to eat with the princesses, so he's skipping it. But I'll be taking lots and lots of pictures. DD4 doesn't really remember the last time...

When me and DH went to CRT for Bfast in Jan of this year, our Cinderella was a picture nazi! She was saying: hands here, turn here, ok, thank you... next, hands here... while we were waiting in line I was watching in amazement. I wonder about the amount of people that girl takes pictures with each day! She was trying to keep her voice sweet but she was kind of losing it already and we were at the 8:15 seating!
Yeah, the wands were being used as beating clubs at the table of 4 children and 2 adults next to us. I rememeber that much! Woohoo fun for them!

Wands for the girls swords for the boys the servers have to be very careful. Erin looks adorable with Cinderella. We really enjoyed our dinner at CRT and it's only sort of a character meal.

We have 2 of those wands still here at home. And they pretty much are the "weapon" of choice. My girls use them as wands, microphones and bats.

Who knew they would be multi-functional
