AC Last Night

Hey do you guys have any ideas on how to handle the last night at AC? How early should I get there to make sure I get in? Any other tips?

I would, but don't fancy the line that is likely to form around 11:30am, like a Candlelight Processional line on steroids...

We will be there each night Thurs 7/31 through Sat 8/2... The boards are saying that Disney Management has been taking a "hands on" appraoch to distributing buttons, etc that refernece the closing (we shall see)..

I have heard from some very dedicated fans (who happen to be CM's as well) that a "Big Scene" will not be encouraged on the last night.

Hope to see some of you there... we cannot save it but we can enjoy it while it is still here. We can then vote with our feet... Our next 5 visits in 2008 (exception being the pod cast cruise) are off property and we are splitting time with US during the visit.

Disney will still get some of my day time money but not my lodging or nighttime expenditures.

I expect to get very familiar with City Walk and Downtown Orlando again... the money saved from not staying on property will eaisly pay for the cab/limo rides back and forth

nah, I'm in Charlotte... gonna make it a surprise trip for someone very special. just a couple night at the AC and a day at MK. Even though MK is a 9 for crowd on Monday, I may know my way around the park to avoid the lines and the crowds... i was planning on sleeping in and getting to the park about noon and staying till 5 while it is really amazon/africa hot, and rent a double wide stroller. That's how they recommend seeing the parks right, go late, leave early and push a double wide?

I cannot think of a better way to spend $30+ dollars! At least you won't have to carry around all those souvies that you buy!

I really hope that AC does not close but if it does, the best exit for it would be to have the Radiothon not raise the money or do something along the lines of not getting the two raccoon pelts so the club is losing its lease. Then have a closing party the rest of the night.
