Sci Fi Dinner question????

I just called and made a ressie for Sci fi in september. The park is scheduled to be open until 8:00 pm and they woman on the phone said they had available seating times up until 8:30 pm. Is this normal for them to keep seating people a half an hour after the park closes?? I just kept thinking to myself that she must have misspoke. Thanks for any answers!

yup, the restaurants always stay open longer than the parks.
