Thanks. I'll will definitely try to right up a review when we get back.

I wish I could do some of your adr's, but with 3 kids I can only dream of V&A

We're going to be traveling with our 11 month old son for the first time and we are using kids nite out for babysitting. It's a little pricey but on top of celebrating his 1st birthday this trip, my wife and I are also celebrating our 5 year anniversary so that gives us a reason to splurge a little. As if a trip to DW wasn't enough. :lmao:

:thumbsup2 We used Kids Nite Out this past May during our WDW trip. We LOVED the service. We are using them again for our upcoming September trip. We had Andrea. She was great with our kids. I just thought I would throw out her name as she was fantastic. :woohoo: DH and I not only had a nice "childless" dinner, we even went to DHS and rode RNR and ToT TOGETHER for the first time. It was the best night of the vacation by far.

Have a magical trip! :wizard:

The only one's I don't personally like are Monday (Chefs de France for lunch and then LeCellier for dinner....I would be miserably, happily stuffed):rotfl2: and Thursday would be the same way unless we had the Chef Mickey buffet very early, and Whipering Canyon (skillets) very late, otherwise that same feeling would come over me.

I guess the good thing about having older kids, DW and I always get to ride together. It would be uncool for any of our kids to have to ride with Mom or Dad.:rolleyes1

Doing the happy dance for you as your trip is SO close. :cool1: Your ADRs sound fabulous - I wish I had your budget :lmao: Have a magical time!!

Sounds like you are going to enjoy lots of wonderful foods! Have a great time at V&A. I would love to see a thread when you return about how it goes. Enjoy!

When I first saw your restaurants, all I could think was . . .

Yummy! Yummy! Yummy! Yummy! (in Stacy's voice of course!;) )

Today, I moved around some of our ADRs for our September and November/December trips. So, we now have some of the same restaurants to anticipate . . .

Chef de France (lunch w/CP Package)
Ohana (dinner)

We've eaten at the following on your list and quick review:

50's Prime Time Cafe (dinner) - After hearing positive and negative reviews on this restaurant, we decided to give it a try. DH had the meatloaf and I had the fried chicken. DH said his meal was edible, but not spectacular. Personally, I was very underwhelmed with the chicken. It didn't taste fresh. Then again, we live in Texas and have an amazing fried chicken restaurant nearby. So, I had high expectations for the chicken. Our waitress didn't play around with us too much. We may try it again. But, I'll have something different.

Whispering Canyon (dinner) - DH and I both shared the all-you-can-eat skillet. It was YUMMY! The only thing we really didn't care for was the sausage. It was very dry and underseasoned. Our kids love this restaurant too. We are eating here for dinner AND breakfast on our upcoming trips (The breakfast is really yummy too!).

Chef Mickey (breakfast) - This is a staple for us on the morning before we attend MVMCP. It is "normal" breakfast buffet food. Our kids would have been happy to eat just the donuts they were so yummy. But, the main reason we keep going back is the amazing character interaction. DS2 tried to feed Pluto his Mickey waffle last year. It was priceless. This is a GREAT choice for a character breakfast.

I plan on surprising DH with the Chef's Table at V&A for his 40th Birthday next year. Can't wait!:woohoo:

:wizard: Have a magical trip and if possible could you give me your opinion on Chef de France and Ohana when you get back? Have a safe trip and say "Hi" to Mickey for us. ;)

The only thing I would change is the Rose and Crown. The food I find is mediocre to bad: cold or over done or not done or cold. I have tried several times as the menu always looks good. The last time there - and it will be my last time - I ordered the fish and chips because it is one of my favorite things at their CS window. Could not believe it! It was awful - fries soggy and fish not crisp. Never again - I would save your money and go to the fish and chips window...

::yes:: I've heard that before about the fish 'n chips inside the Rose and Crown Pub too. If I dined there, I would try something new/different. :thumbsup2 The menu looks interesting. Yorkshire County Fish Shop is our favorite counter service in World Showcase (& cheaper than the R&C). We can't walk by that stand and not walk away with a portion. The smell is tantalizing and the taste is addictive. Okay you've got me hungry now! I want some Harry Ramsden's fish 'n chips!!!!!! ;)

Thanks for the reviews. I was considering adding 50's Prime Time and Whispering Canyon for our upcoming trip. We are doing the character breakfast at Ohana so I can comment on that soon.

BTW, hopefully DH never reads this board or you may have just spoiled his 40th BD surprise.:scared1:

Thanks for the heads up. I was looking for another CS in Epcot. Sounds like we definitely need to give this a try.:thumbsup2

We used Kid's Night Out on our last trip and did not have a good experience, so I won't leave my kids until my son is older. I did end up booking Chef's for lunch while we are in Epcot, but the kids will be with us.

We actually did just change this ADR. We are now going to Tony's Town Square on Tuesday instead. We figured since we were eating at Bistro De Paris the same day as Rose and Crown that it might be a little overkill. We ate at Rose and Crown in 2006 and thought the food was decent, but I go there more for the Black and Tans so I'll probably just swing by the bar on our way through.
