what things have you done to your rig to kind of personalize it. we know some folks that have a lance truck camper and they put in a wine rack. battery operated lights in compartments, etc...

we always put in a shampoo/soap dispenser system in our shower. works great. we fill it once at the beginning of the season and are pretty much set to the end of the summer.

thats one thing we do to modify our rig.. what have you done??

Key holder by front door, glued to plexy so the keys don't scratch the wood.

On the other side of entry is a wood base with 6 thingys to hang dog leashes, coats etc.

Over the door hangers on kitchen cabinets from BB&B for pot holders and hand towel and dish towel.

Thin metal over the door hanger on bathroom door for pj's. also from BB&B

We also have put stuff to hang things on on the wall by the foot of the bed up high, belts and clothes wind up here.

We have a magazine rack Frank made on the wall in the bathroom.

We just got a spice rack for the wall by the stove, with a bar across to keep them in place.

Magnets on the hood vent.

We had an open shelf under the TV which was not practical while in motion, so we bought a piece of trim at THD and stained it oak, put it across there now everything stays put.

We have 2 shower curtain rods that we made to fit across the shower and in the commode room up high on the wall for wet towels.

Our shower also is in the middle of the camper and is closed off by the bedroom and bathroom doors, sometimes people need to get thru there. So I bought a drape that matched the inside colors and made a fancy shower curtain for outside of the glass shower door for privacy so people can come thru if necessary.

We put my musket mickey/ftw stickers on the outside. Bought a ftw throw for the back of the couch, a ftw mat for the front door, and mickey/donald/pirates of the carib freezer mugs for the kungaloosh. LOL

I just replaced the 650 cca battery with a 1350 cca diehard drycell for dry camping. There was a plug in the kitchen that was wired to an extension cord under the front, to run an electric heater when its cold. The previous owner did that, and we have used it a couple of times. I put a plug in the cupboard right by the front door to run the charge for my phone and for the drill that we use to run the stab jacks up and down. It just makes it nice that they are out of sight.

We made our mods to the outside so far...decals for every side...if you start on the driver's side of the coach, it starts with the first line of the Auburn fight song, and the back is another quote and the passenger side is another quote (all in order) and the "A" in Band is the Auburn Band logo since both DH and I were in the AU band. The front has musket mickey on it. All of it is done in 5-7yr vinyl, custom cut. I found a used digital cutter and went to town with it.

The inside is basically how we bought it, plus our junk. We are thinking of taking out a chair and table and putting in another couch, but every time we get enough money to do that, something has to be done to the coach for preventive maintenance. It will get done someday...

Dishwasher, bathroom mag rack.Safe, fishing rod holders, yard flag holders, a couple of small 12V to 110v invertors, roof vent covers, digital TV convertor boxs, suction cup soap bottle holders in the shower (from big lots),wireless internet, portable sat dish for when we are parked in the trees, play station 2,weber grill, Golf cart and most importantly dis-boards green mickey head stickers on the MH and GC

you guys have done some pretty neat stuff. i am sure we will need to do more as we go. but, since we just got ours and haven't been out with it yet, it will be a few trips...

ok, skip that.. silly me.. i forget the first day we had it dh told dsis and
dbr-i-l that he could take out the whole entertainment system and put in a large flat screen. just modify the cabinets a bit and we would be set..

:cheer2: Wow you've really gone to town haven't you. I myself hired 3 designers to wallpaer. I got bad news though, they used the wrong kinda paper. Looking for another firm to take care of it now.

Well, there are things that come to mind, but you see what I went through to get Pete to work on my globes!!!

Back on topic:

I am not really imaginative, so about all we have done is mount a clock on a cabinet in the kitchen and we sleep on an inflatable mattress.

We put some ugly dents on the back of ours the first time we went along a bumpy road with the bike carrier on the rear bumper (came with the trailer)! Now I have a series of Thule & Yakima low rider's connected to a board in the bed of the truck so we can fit 5 bikes in there (they are the kind that secure to the front wheel fork after you take the wheels off).

Also replaced the single battery compartment on the tonque with a Norco Marine dual battery compartment and two 6-volt golf cart batteries for dry camping at local state parks. Helps us go 4 days with no electric.

well on the inside I have put in a stackable drawer system for my canned goods and another for spices and herbs. Stickie hooks on the side of the oven vent for some utensils I use often and a Mickey Vase for others behind the stove. I also have some Mickey Utensils. I put wallies of Tink and Giselle in the Kitchen and bath.Tink shower curtain and bathroom toothbrush holder , soap dispenser,trashcan...bunks have Tink and Nemo bedspreads I have a castle from Enchanted as a wallie on the wall at the head of my bed and 2 sets of MM ears on the shelf there as well, floor mat at front door from the Fort...Tire cover from the Fort on the back of TT. Tink on my TT window and 2 on my Truck...Tink Hitch cover...have a WDW sticker to apply somewhere yet to be determined....i did have a Alice bedspread from the GF on my bed but it was just too heavy....so its stored for now.oh yeah...have a pink bucket with a rainbow of Mickey heads I laminated on it for the base of my mickeyhead lampost..(.I'm going to be re-vamping it before the trip down in Dec.)(I tried to make it fun but put nothing on it that can't be removed for re- sale at some point)
