Hi everyone!! Some of you may remember me from our planning journal a few months ago, if so - you'll probably remember lots of confusion, upset & stress. But we're BAAAACK with happy news!! We are having our actual wedding at disney!! I am sooooo excited and we've both realised that its what truly feels right for us There is just going to be the two of us, no guests - but we still have an amazing day planned and I cant wait to share plans, hints, tips, photos & stories with all of you

I'll tell you the main facts first that everyone probably wants to know, then I'll natter on about us & the proposal

Escape Wedding : Monday 15th September 2008, 5pm at the Wedding Pavillion. Stitch will be attending the cake & champagne reception, then we are boarding the Grand 1 yacht for a meal, followed by an Illuminations Dessert Party at Japan!!

Hiya! How are your plans going? Its getting so close for you now!!

We arrive in Orlando on the 9th but are staying at Universal for the first 4 nights. We should arrange a disbride mini meet!!

Stitch is my fave character so he was a must have

oh we are off to universal on the 6th! we leave for mexico on the 11th!

Plans are going well only 8 weeks tomorrow to wedding and 7 on thursday till we fly!

We had our first trip to Disney in September 2005. We'd had a lazy day that morning and then I surprised him: I'd booked La Nouba at 6pm and Rainforest Cafe for 8.30pm. He loved them both and so did I!!! La Nouba was absolutely amazing, so much going on at once - had no idea where to look Had a yummy meal at RC and a couple of drinks in the very funky flash glasses - which amused me for hours & they still work now!! We then did an hour of shopping and got a taxi back to the resort. We were staying in a deluxe room at the Wilderness Lodge and had a lovely view of the lagoon and the walkway to the boat taxi - reminded me of Dawson's Creek so I loved it!!! Anyway, after we got back I put my slippers on and went to the loo and Den said he was just nipping out and I thought 'Where on earth is he going at midnight???' Then after about 10 mins, my mobile rang and it was Den telling me to open the doors and come out on to the balcony (I thought I'd locked him out there or something ) He was stood on the boat dock and told me to meet him down there Ok I said, whilst trying to find the bug spray!! (How romantic!! lol )

I felt like I was on Fear Factor LMAO I had to walk through the garden areas and along the path in the pitch black listening to all the bug noises and please bare in mind that I hate bugs, spiders, snakes, those little lizard things and they were all there in the bushes ready to just pounce on me! But I did it and met up with him on the dock, he took me to the end of it and sat me on the bench - I still didn't have a clue what was going on, thought he might have hired a boat as a surprise or something - no idea what was coming next.

Then he walked over with a 'Cinderella' style cushion and got down on one knee (Tissues please! ) On the cushion there was a tiara which he placed on my head, and a Stitch teddy holding a ring (I adore stitch!!!) and he had wrote a poem about 'Princess Joanne' and read it to me and then asked me to marry him, I said yes (More tissues please )

Universal is a must for DF as he wants to try out the new simpsons ride and he looooves the hard rock hotel

I've not been on spiderman yet, but im going to this time!! I loved men in black, made me really dizzy but it was fab

What things have you still got left to plan / sort ? Or are you an organised bride unlike me

I can't decide what im looking forward to the most *** everything is so wonderful over there! Every part of the wedding and those two weeks is going to be great

You're alot more organised than me, my dress doesnt come in until the start of august but Im trying to stay as calm as possible about it by stressing about other things I've got loads and loads to do!

Paying for it is a total pain isnt it! Wish disney offered free weddings, now theres a magical idea

We were thinking of doing the sand ceremony too, but we might be switching to the hand tying one or the rose ceremony, too many decisions!

Im excited but really stressed out at the same time *** Ive got loads to do, but i'll get there in the end - once Im on the plane i'll be ok, I hope!

I've still got some of your pics saved so I can show Randy a couple of shots that Id love to have - that one of you both upstairs infront of the chandelier at the GF is to die for *faints* I would have copied your FHM shot but I dont want to make DF regret the marriage so soon by waving my tree trunk thighs at him

We're currently going through 'itchyfeetitis' We're not happy unless we have a trip somewhere in the pipeline but alas, we've decided to be grown up and responsible, and skip another trip this year in favour of paying the VISA off once and for all Watch this space though!!

Glad you are happy honey!! Shove them in a drawer, are you insane!!! If I had your pics, I would be plastering them all over my walls, the car, hanging them around my neck and sticking one on the dog just for good luck!

Awww, skipping a trip is no good - but I know what you mean though, we're saving like mad and are so gonna go over budget, but it'll all be worth it - thats what I keep telling myself anyway We probably wont get another trip for at least 5 years while we are paying it all off

Thankyou It's gonna be fab! I think we are just having starters & a main course on the boat, then scoffing the desserts at the party I've got to make up for being on a crash diet

Yeah, we're gonna have a little party. Not sure of all the ins & outs of it yet because Im trying to just concentrate on the wedding now that its so close.

Yep, I've found my dress, Its due to arrive at the start of august
