Best computers out there!!!:surfweb:

Vicki, I'm sorry to hear about your friend's husband. At least she has friends like you to lean on during this difficult time.

Glad to hear your arm is doing better too. My friend got his soft cast off last week too and has nothing on it but gauze since it still bleeds a little. He's doing the whole therapy thing too. He's up to 2 lbs now.

Thanks Emily,
My friend is a good person-she pretty much dedicated the past 2 years taking care of her husband. She's a nurse too, but has neuropathy from diabetes so bad that she is unable to work. I am glad that your friend is doing well. 2 pounds--woo hoo!!!! I just started last Thursday, and can almost straighten my fingers:thumbsup2 Baby steps, but I'll take it!!!!

 Sorry to hear about your friend's husband. Even with health problems, it's hard. I am sure she is glad she has your support.
Thanks for the report on the arm! Do keep us posted. Nitty gritty is fine. We will rejoice in every little improvement!

Jan :earsgirl:

Thanks Jan...As above, it is nitty gritty now, but I am sure it will speed up. I can also touch my thumb to my ring finger with my left hand. Yeah! I am getting better at one-handed typing too.

I really do appreciate everyone's support. I doubt that many of you know this, but I make jewelry, and sell it at craft shows--very small time, but I started doing it when I became symptomatic with fibromyalgia. It was something I could do to give me a sense of worth. I can't do it right now, but I miss it so much that it will give me motivation!!! I especially like working with silver wire and crystals.:goodvibes ::yes::
Do we have a list somewhere of all the disers and their families going on this cruise-and the next? It would be nice to be able to keep up with everyone. Also, how many adults only, and how many with children? It may be way too early to get into that, this is the first cruise we have been on from the start-more or less. Thanks.....Vicki
one last thing----can someone tell me how to type in color in the replies. I pick a color, and click on it, but the color doesn't show up.

Hi Vicki,
Good job with your therapy! Do you get the hot paraffin treatments on your hand? I loved those, but I had all my hand therapy in Jan. & Feb. Maybe it wouldn't feel so good in the summer!

I don't think a "roll call" list has been started yet.

To get your text in color: after you finish typing, highlight/select it, then go up and choose your color. That should do it.

Jewelry---oooohhhh!!! I love doing stuff like that, but mostly for myself. I have an idea of something I need for an outfit and go make it. Using those plyers and winding the wire will be good therapy.

Another way to do a color is to highlight it and type in the middle of the coded area. So, in square brackets like this [ it will say COLOR="Red" and then another ] you put your text in the middle of that and the ending code which is a square bracket [ then /COLOR then another square bracket ]

Make any sense either way?

Jan :earsgirl:

They make lecterns--like out of wood or metal?
They use the computers to keep track of business stuff?

Jan :earsgirl:

Wood or quality pretend for the Audio Visual and desk type lecterns. Speaker's lecterns can be wood, metal or perspex. Whatever the client wants really!! We had a perspex one in the last James bond film, but you can't see it!!! The Queen has also signed a guest book on one of our perspex lecterns. Good advert!!

Yes, the Macs are to run the businesss.

I'm glad you are beginning to see progress with the therapy. That must motivate you to keep going, and please get back to jewellery making!!! I would love to see some of your work.

We need a patient person to go through this thread with a fine tooth comb and note everyone coming along. I'm sure our OP would copy it onto the first page.

We never managed to meet Woody on the cruise!:worried:

I ran into him twice, I think......but no time to talk. Then before we left LA we met him and Mrs. Woody and Tracyvp and family for dinner so we finally got a chance to talk......a little. Some time at the Cove Cafe to sit back and relax sounds like a perfect setting for our next meet.

I know it is a Tad bit early but who is sitting with whom?

Anyone want to have some Dis Tables for dinner?

:thumbsup2

We were thinking about holding off linking tables until the 90 day out ressies were booked. We ran into a few snags this last cruise because we had lots of linked ressies and then went to do the 90 day out ressies all at the same time and we crashed the site. We found out, if you're linked you can't book both at the same time. So we're doing Palo and Spas and excursions first, then we'll link our tables. We don't want to crash the site like last time.

But we DEFINITELY want to link with DISers for dinner.

Ahh, swimming fish memories!:rotfl2: We are a bit axious aren't we? I feel like I am wishing my life away by wanting these cruises to come so fast.

Deb, I am sorry I didn't get to see more of you on the repo cruise. We met in the terminal and that was it. Do you even remember me? We will have to make time to chat a bit this time.:goodvibes

Hi Donna.....I can't believe we only met once at the terminal. I do remember you, but I really thought we saw each other around the boat somewhere too. Oh well, definitely on this cruise.

The other thing that I'm going to do differently is not run from place to place on a schedule. There were so many activities that we were so busy. I don't want to do that again. Towards the end of the PC cruise, there was less activities going on and I enjoyed those days more. More time for meeting up with friends.

One thing those of us from the Sept '07 cruise did was meet up at the Quiet Cove on morning too. I thought it was great fun. Quite a few of us also happened to meet up at the Tequila tastings - Even more fun!
Anybody else up for that?

I'd be up for the tequila tasting again. We did that on the TA last August and it was a blast.

Hello everyone. I just discovered DIS while gathering info for our Tortola cruise. The whole site is just amazing. I hope to get to know more of you before the cruise.

This will our third Disney cruise and our first eastern cruise.

Welcome TCCDad! You will get to know more than you ever wanted to know about some of us before this cruise. There are some chatty people on this thread. You all know who you are!:rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

Cove Cafe is my favorite place to sit outside and relax.:thumbsup2

Donna, I think somehow we didn't meet up at all?:confused3 We'll have to make sure to say hi this cruise!

Deb,
I agree, I'm going to schedule a little less this time around. I WILL read at least one book this cruise!! Unless I'm too busy chatting with ya all ;)
