My poor DH had to go to work today, while I have the day off. So what would any self-respecting wife do? Throw her bike in the Explorer and head to FtW!!

When I arrived at FtW at about 11:30am, the temp was a balmy 90 degrees. Onward I press.

Here's the "Freeloading Mobile". Notice that the cupholder conveniently holds a re-fillable mug!!!

The renovation of the 1900 loop is now complete:

The renovation of 1800 is only half done:

This is a sight not often seen at FtW. Anyone want to rent a cart?

This is site 303. These people have been at FtW since Nov 07 that I know of... lucky stiffs!!

Here is the ellusive "shed" that provides the sound for the Wishes Fireworks for the Hayride:

After biking all the loops on the west side of FtW, it's time for refreshment in my re-fill mug:

....and a little break at Clementine's Beach:

This next picture is for Al's benefit.... Stall #2:

Another sight not often seen at FtW. The golf cart parking area by Settlement Bus Stop:

And finally.... a picture for the best Trip Reporter of all times....TCD!!!

I rode all the loops with the exception of 2000, group camping, and the cabin loops. I got plumb tuckered out! I took a mental count of the empty spaces and I would say that FtW is about 65-70% occupied. Each loop had 7 to 10 empty spaces.

That is all until my next adventure!!!

The Otter Spotter!!

great pics....2 trips in 2 days are you trying to make us jealous? Well it's working, almost as much as the guy in 303 . So do you think the guy in 303 can't afford the gas to get back home and decided it was cheaper just to stay at The Fort? :rotfl:

.... I live in an RV community and am one of the very few here that does not have another home "up north". (A house payment & MH payment is pushing my budget to the limit, thank you very much!)

Up until this year, the winter folks took there MH's with them when they left for the summer. Not this year!! Quite a few homes have the RV's in the port, and nobody's home!!:confused3

As the unofficial self-appointed moderator of this subforum, I need to ask you to please adhere by the rules and post these types of things in the "main" questions thread.

That is all,

Carry on

you are lucky I won't consider that a minor personal attack and assess you 5 points.

You are making us all jealous again Deb.
Enjoyed the pictures..thanks.

Ahemm...about the refillable mug.:rolleyes1 You best watch out, it's a slippery slope your going down girl. I fear the next thing I know you'll be pool hopping!

Deb: just curious how many pics do you have in your photobucket account?

Deb you should just buy an enclosed trailer and set it up with all your stuff in the overflow lot. That way you won't have to pack anything to come over.:rotfl:

Actually, we have a cargo trailer for the bikes, but we seldom use it at FtW. There is a large county park nearby, and a 55 mile Rails To Trails bike/exercise trail that we use the trailer at. We pack a small gas grill, cooler, 2 small chairs & folding table & spend the day riding our bikes. Now mind you,,,, these trips are reserved for cooler times of the year...never from June thru the end of Sept!

Hey! Thanks for the compliment! :goodvibes I can't believe that they named a whole area of the Fort after me! Colson just has a corner, but I have a whole ranch!

BTW- great report! You know, you could get some pretty good behind the scenes photos with that bike of yours.
