Dinner. I put on chile this morning. It's the same chile I won our school's chile cook-off with in January. Oh yea...I'm that good.

Oooh. Funny story, my dad makes a pretty good chile. My aunt was a professor at Texas A&M prior to retiring, and they had a faculty chile cook off one year. She asked for my dad's recipe, but ran out of time to make it, so she just used Hormel. And then she won. And had to explain.

Tomorrow is my cheating enchiladas. But, everyone loves them and thinks I actually did work to make them. Heh heh. I'm too lazy to work.

I was going to ask, but you already answered. That sounds good.

I usually have to make some sort of menu to decide what to get at the grocery store on Fridays. Don't you?
I'm not saying that's always what we have but it's a bare bones plan.

Well, I keep our usual meats on hand (just chicken and the ground stuff, mostly, but I keep them in the freezer) and then I have 4-5 things I make regularly. I nearly always have the makings for those things, but I don't think about them in advance, if you KWIM. So, I realized just before tennis tonight that I hadn't brought anything out to thaw. But I had the makings for a bunch of stuff, just didn't plan it out...

Sat- date night (kids with Aunt)
Sunday- Kids at Grandma's (no telling for us)

Well, my SIL bought me two tickets to a musical for my bday. She also offered to babysit while we go and insists we go out for dinner too. She's so sweet to me. She's never babysat my kids before, but she plans on taking them to Kung Foo Panda, so I think they'll be happy with that.

There'll be no trampoling, or badminton, if that's what you mean! Dirty marital supply lady!

Day 3 of Barbieville:
Today I met Dr. Botox - she introduced herself and her face didn't move during our entire conversation. I had to hide in the bathroom afterward for about 20 minutes 'cause I kept giggling. It's so bizarre!
Nothing real exciting today, I hid in the charts room getting things organized because of alien Dr. Botox scared me. Her face is truely frightening. BUT, when I was leaving for the day, the Dr. called Tourguide Barbie in the office and from the looks of everyone I don't think that was a good thing. I won't be going to Barbieville tomorrow as it's "B day" for me.... BRACES day!
