I have been on it before actually...when I was 18...I didn't really like it then and that was before the unpredictable factor came into play. I need to know what my rides are doing before I go on them, plus I'm into that into the falling feeling. DH isn't either so I always get out of going on...lol.

oh, the party was the highlight of the trip, but i will shut up now as to not give too much away! that's WAY later in my TR. we're only on day 2 and that was day 6!

nope, that wasn't tink. that's just the reflective label on the bookbag. i will try to find a picture with tink in it and post it here for you.

about the dropping.....i know! we dropped a few times without going all the way to the top. i couldn't believe we saw the top 4 times - and the last two times we didn't stop, just up and down! those are the best!

We forked over $24 for pirate punch last year for my kids.............just because they wanted those light up things! I think the drink is minute maid fruit punch!

i just know it wasn't that great. ray tasted it and he said it tasted like it had artificial surger in it to him. i didn't notice because i use splenda in my coffee so i'm used to it!

You're video gave me chills! It seems like forever since I have been able to ride TOT yet it's only been a year!

you only have a couple more months to wait until you can ride it again!!!!

The light up pirate's punch drinks were just put on my list of things to get the other day when I was looking at the Sci-Fi menu. We'll probably get at least one Hook and one Tink, because there surely can't be something Disney that we don't own at least one of! John chose to go back there as one of our meals, so I was browsing to see what I thought I might get this time. When I'm planning my menus, I know I'm getting close!

As you can see, my post was made in the colors of those wonderful, welcoming Disney road signs that let you know you are officially on Disney property. I could have Disney on the brain right now, since we're under twenty days away.

That would be me, such the lurker. I had read your pre-trip report because our vacations were during the same week. Then I was sitting there eating, thinking, "That looks like Dawn from the DIS!!!" I think it is! Let me be sure... Ray wearing Tennessee hat... Yep, that's her!" I don't like to bother people when they are eating, but couldn't resist saying hello.

The trip report is great! I've been reading along with each update and remembering what a great vacation we had. Amazing how we didn't actually run into each other more than once -- we were in lots of the same places at almost the same time!

I feel like a celebrity now that I've made your trip report!

oh, at night is awesome! the view is just beautiful....if you have time to look at it! we rode it last year in the afternoon during a storm and that was even creepier.

mission space is VERY enclosed. i enjoyed it, but i'm not claustrophobic. i'm scared of birds, therefore i don't do flights of wonder. and i never will. (sorry, erica, if you want to do that in september. i will have to wait for you outside!)

well, we can't start trying until we can afford to have me put on his insurance, which will probably be next year. so pregnancy definitely won't ruin my next two trips (september & december). but i will be on a disney hiatus after that.

i'll try to post a picture of the tink in a few minutes for you. as i was telling memom, it was really cool at night on the dark busses on the way back to the resort. that's when we got the most questions about it.

thanks! i don't know if i've told you or not, but i doubt i'll be going to WDW in 2009. i know!!! the horror. but i'm getting to go three times this year and ray and i are thinking about starting a family next year. so i will probably be taking a disney break until we get that all squared away. i'm only having 1 so it will be a brief hiatus! i plan on taking that kid to disney at least 3 times before i start having to pay for them!

oh, you'd love it. you just have to tell yourself you're going to enjoy the dropping! i'm telling you - the worst part is the waiting in line and the whole pre-show deal just because you're so nervous.

And now I know why I don't go on TOT!

it's so fun!!!!! if you've never ridden it, i highly recommend you do it just once. last year i vowed i wouldn't go on it. then when we got there i knew that if i didn't at least try it, i would regret it. and now i love it! the first time i rode it i laughed so hard i had tears streaming down my face!

i just looked through my pictures and i found 3 of the glow tink that i got on the pirate punch for those of you that wanted to see her.

this first one is ray on space mountain. you can see our bookbag between his legs and she's the little clear-looking thing to the right of the bar that's attached to the bookbag.

this is ray walking down main street. you can see her attached to the bookbag again, but this time upside down, which is what she was normally doing! the way she was attached made her go upside down a lot. (you can also see flat beana and part of flat mattica in the netting part of our bookbag - we kept them there so they could see what was going on!)

and you can't really see her hear, but this was taken at the pirate and princess party, so it was at night and we had her turned on. you can see a little green thing glowing on the back of the bookbag.

also, i've made all my ADRs for our december trip. i don't think i'm gonna do a pre-TR for that one - at least not yet. so i thought i'd share our plans here (again) to see what you guys thought. i've already posted this here, but it has changed a little and now we have ADR times nailed down. let me know your thoughts!

~thursday, december 4: sleep in (we will have arrived very late the night before) / breakfast in condo / epcot all day - we're not sure if we're gonna park at epcot or the boardwalk/beach club area. depends on what time we get there. we want to check out boardwalk & beach/yacht club xmas decorations and have lunch at beaches & cream (no ADRs needed), then go back to epcot for rest of the day to check out xmas story tellers in WS and illuminations at 9:30. dinner will be at a WS CS.

~friday, december 5: breakfast in condo / DHS all day / lunch at sci-fi at 1:25 / block party at 3:00 (last year they had the holly-day parade for christmas instead of the regular parade but so far the block party is listed) / osbourne lights start at 6:00 and go until an hour after park closing (or so i've heard) / fantasmic at 7:00 / dinner will be at a CS.

~saturday, december 6: breakfast in condo / MK all day / lunch at a CS / castle lighting at 5:45 / dinner at kona cafe at 6:20 / mono to GF to see xmas decorations / back to MK for wishes at 9:00 & spectro at 10:00

~sunday, december 7: AK all day / breakfast at tusker house character meal at 10:25 (i wanted 10:00, but this was ALL they had left. i called today and it was exactly 180 days out.....scary! i may try to call back later and get a time closer to 10:00) / lunch at flame tree bbq / jingle jungle parade at 3:45 / leave AK after parade and drive to WL to see xmas decorations / MK for rest of night for MVMCP / dinner will be at a CS in MK

I'm picturing doing a Saturday Night Live type of spoof of us sharing Disney World with the general public. I'd be in a coma passed out from Mission:Space, KatGarcia would be trembling in fear of the Tower of Terror, and you'd be running screaming away from Flights of Wonder!
