After we found Nemo, we headed out and realized that we were just in time for Turtle Talk with Crush!! Every time we've tried to see this before, It was down.
We get inside and DS takes a seat on the floor and we take a seat about 3 rows back. After 2 minutes, we hear DS screaming and crying.
The show hadn't started yet and I ran over there and sat behind him to see what was wrong. By this time there were a couple of other mom's on the floor too so I stayed there for the entire show. It seems that DS had this little Mickey head key chain thing that we bought him, on the floor and he was playing with it. When he turned to look at us, then look back, it was gone. We looked everywhere for it and the other little boys around us sort of lifted their legs and butts to try to help us find it but it was gone. He was so upset. We get him one of these every trip. I promised we will get him another one. There was one little boy sitting directly in front of him who kept turning around and looking at him. I asked him if he had seen it since DS kept pointing at him and saying he thought he took it. Plus, he was the only one around us not helping to find it. He just shook his head and turned back around. After another 3-4 minutes.....he turned back around and put it back on the floor in front of DS.
When he turned back around to peek and see if I saw him, I was staring right at him. I just simply asked him "did you have it the entire time?" He shook his head no and turned back around. I kept staring at him and he looked back to see if I still was, so I continued "because you know that would be really mean if you did have it the whole time, right??" He hung his head and then knodded and turned around. Little turd!!!
So, everything was better now and the show started. Here is some video I took of the show. DS wasn't feeling brave enough to raise his hand and ask Crush a question, but he still had a wonderful time!
After Crush, we headed out but still had a few minutes until our fast pass. We decided to ride Journey into Imagination with Figment. I still think this ride is cute. DS wasn't as scared this time, I guess it's because he knew what to expect. We didn't ride it in Feb because it was being refurbished. When we got off of the ride we took our time and had fun in the imagination center. I didn't take any pic's while in there....sorry! It was now time for our fast pass with Soarin'! Rather than rushing right over, we decided to walk across and grab a fastpass to Test Track! Would it be 2 fast passes or 3?? If you remember from my PTR, I tried to prepare DS for all sorts of rides by watching youtube video's and talking to him about the rides and what to expect. He kept insisting that he was ready to ride TT. Ok.....3 FASTPASSES!!
We head back over to Soarin' and get stopped at the gate for DS to be measured. Over the line.....YAY!! Not that we didn't know this already, but YAY anyway!!
We had a blast on Soarin' again. This time DS was prepared for the golfball and didn't get scared at all. We were seated on the 2nd row in the middle just like in Feb. I really like sitting here. Sure you see dangling feet above you, but when you are on the top row you see the top of the screen and it just doesn't seem as "real" or "magical" to me.
When we got off of Soarin' we slowly made our way toward the East side to prepare for TT. First I asked DH if he wanted to stop off at Club Cool. He declined.
We played around in Innoventions for a while and then it was time for TT. My heart actually dropped and I became very nervous for DS. I knew that he knew what was going to happen but it's different when you are actually ON the ride. We get on the ride and get front row. We seat him in the middle, of course and off we go....test the hill climb, over the bumps, now test the brakes......He did really good!!! Ok, next thing I was nervous about was the big truck scaring him......it did a little even though we talked about it but not too bad. He was still excited. Ok, here it is...the moment of truth.....get ready baby, here we go!!!!!!!!!! His reaction..."WHOA!!!!!" "WHOA!!!!!!"
That's what he said during the curves. He was sort of nervous-like when he got off but said that he loved it!! YAY!!!!!!!! We jokingly asked him if he wanted to ride again, his response..."maybe later".
We were so proud of him!! I wish we could have gotten a ride photo, but you couldn't even see us. We were too busy leaning over talking to DS through the ride that you couldn't see any of our faces. Oh well....it was fun and he enjoyed it, that's all that matters!
Next up.......the Flower & Garden Festival pavillion, an ADR at Coral Reef, and we get started on our trip around World Showcase!
