The Great Make Up Trip Of 2008~7/22- SEE YOU REAL SOON! (pg. 86) ~COMPLETED~

Well if she insults DD I have a feeling she will hear exactly what she deserves!! :scared1: There is a difference between teasing and insulting and it would seem like she needs to learn the difference!!

I can't believe it is the same CM  ! She should not be a part of the Disney magic. :headache:

I am already thinking of suitable comments if she happens to be our skipper in June -- anybody want to contribute ideas???

How about "Excuse me did you have to attend school to learn to be so rude or is that just the way you are???":rotfl2:

Great update and wonderful pics!

Sorry hear about the UN-Disney CM  It's a shame that some people do not know when to stop! How wild that someone had her pic! Good to know what she looks like so we all can be prepared

I personally love the matching outfits and have been known to dress myself and DD alike when we are at WDW ;)
Thanks!:goodvibes
I like the matching outfits too. I plan on matching us all again next trip....well, with T-Shirts, not a dress.

Yes, I think she isn't realizing the difference.

I know, me too!! Crazy isn't it??
We will probably not even bother riding it next time we go. We've skipped it the past 2 trips before this one mostly because of the line and not wanting to spend a fastpass on it.

How about "Excuse me did you have to attend school to learn to be so rude or is that just the way you are???":rotfl2:

OOOH I have another" Do you like the taste of your feet '*** you keep sticking them in your mouth":rotfl2:
:lmao: :lmao: They are both good, although I like the first one the best. :thumbsup2

We woke up around 7am and headed down for our yummy food court breakfast of scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, buscuits, and a Mickey waffle. DH and I filled our re-fillable cups with coffee and we headed out to EPCOT!! Our first mission of the day.....Soarin' fastpasses! Once again, we were there before rope drop and I must say.....I like it better when we arrive just after rope drop. I think we wait in enough lines all day long, why start the day with one at the gate??:confused3 Anyway, Ladies and Gentlemen...Welcome to the Flower and Garden Festival at EPCOT!! (I will have more pics of the flowers, etc in the 2nd & 3rd installment).....

Once they dropped the rope, we headed over to Soarin' with the rest of the sea of people. I told DH when we got to the front of The Land pavillion to just pull the stroller over and I will go ahead and get the fast passes. This worked for us and our return time was about an hour away. Sorrry I have no photo's of the Land Pavillion or the Soarin' cue. I left the camera behind when I was racing the SOP(sea of people) to Soarin'. May I just say that this hike is always the one that reminds me of just how out of shape I am. When I make it back out to DH and DS I can barely talk because I'm so winded!!

Ok, so we celebrate about having only an hour till Soarin' and we head over to find Nemo. Here are some of my attempts at pictures in there. No flash and a moving vehicle doesn't equal the best pics, but here ya go!
Empty Stroller parking...

CONTINUED....

After we found Nemo, we headed out and realized that we were just in time for Turtle Talk with Crush!! Every time we've tried to see this before, It was down. :yay: We get inside and DS takes a seat on the floor and we take a seat about 3 rows back. After 2 minutes, we hear DS screaming and crying.:scared1: The show hadn't started yet and I ran over there and sat behind him to see what was wrong. By this time there were a couple of other mom's on the floor too so I stayed there for the entire show. It seems that DS had this little Mickey head key chain thing that we bought him, on the floor and he was playing with it. When he turned to look at us, then look back, it was gone. We looked everywhere for it and the other little boys around us sort of lifted their legs and butts to try to help us find it but it was gone. He was so upset. We get him one of these every trip. I promised we will get him another one. There was one little boy sitting directly in front of him who kept turning around and looking at him. I asked him if he had seen it since DS kept pointing at him and saying he thought he took it. Plus, he was the only one around us not helping to find it. He just shook his head and turned back around. After another 3-4 minutes.....he turned back around and put it back on the floor in front of DS.:scared1:  When he turned back around to peek and see if I saw him, I was staring right at him. I just simply asked him "did you have it the entire time?" He shook his head no and turned back around. I kept staring at him and he looked back to see if I still was, so I continued "because you know that would be really mean if you did have it the whole time, right??" He hung his head and then knodded and turned around. Little turd!!!:sad2: So, everything was better now and the show started. Here is some video I took of the show. DS wasn't feeling brave enough to raise his hand and ask Crush a question, but he still had a wonderful time! :cloud9:

After Crush, we headed out but still had a few minutes until our fast pass. We decided to ride Journey into Imagination with Figment. I still think this ride is cute. DS wasn't as scared this time, I guess it's because he knew what to expect. We didn't ride it in Feb because it was being refurbished. When we got off of the ride we took our time and had fun in the imagination center. I didn't take any pic's while in there....sorry! It was now time for our fast pass with Soarin'! Rather than rushing right over, we decided to walk across and grab a fastpass to Test Track! Would it be 2 fast passes or 3?? If you remember from my PTR, I tried to prepare DS for all sorts of rides by watching youtube video's and talking to him about the rides and what to expect. He kept insisting that he was ready to ride TT. Ok.....3 FASTPASSES!! :woohoo: We head back over to Soarin' and get stopped at the gate for DS to be measured. Over the line.....YAY!! Not that we didn't know this already, but YAY anyway!! :yay: We had a blast on Soarin' again. This time DS was prepared for the golfball and didn't get scared at all. We were seated on the 2nd row in the middle just like in Feb. I really like sitting here. Sure you see dangling feet above you, but when you are on the top row you see the top of the screen and it just doesn't seem as "real" or "magical" to me. :confused3

When we got off of Soarin' we slowly made our way toward the East side to prepare for TT. First I asked DH if he wanted to stop off at Club Cool. He declined. :lmao: We played around in Innoventions for a while and then it was time for TT. My heart actually dropped and I became very nervous for DS. I knew that he knew what was going to happen but it's different when you are actually ON the ride. We get on the ride and get front row. We seat him in the middle, of course and off we go....test the hill climb, over the bumps, now test the brakes......He did really good!!! Ok, next thing I was nervous about was the big truck scaring him......it did a little even though we talked about it but not too bad. He was still excited. Ok, here it is...the moment of truth.....get ready baby, here we go!!!!!!!!!! His reaction..."WHOA!!!!!" "WHOA!!!!!!" :rotfl2: That's what he said during the curves. He was sort of nervous-like when he got off but said that he loved it!! YAY!!!!!!!! We jokingly asked him if he wanted to ride again, his response..."maybe later". :lmao: We were so proud of him!! I wish we could have gotten a ride photo, but you couldn't even see us. We were too busy leaning over talking to DS through the ride that you couldn't see any of our faces. Oh well....it was fun and he enjoyed it, that's all that matters! :)

Next up.......the Flower & Garden Festival pavillion, an ADR at Coral Reef, and we get started on our trip around World Showcase!

Now...where was that turd's parents?! I hate that...poor "sportsmanship"...you never take from a man when he's down....Poor lil' DS! I am glad he got it back! :thumbsup2

I have no idea where his parents were. :confused3 I'm glad he got it back too. It's just a cheap little keychain thing but he didn't need to steal it. Guess he wasn't betting on DS crying so loud. :lmao:

Great pictures of Epcot. Flowers are so beautiful. I love that time of year at Epcot.

Poor DS..........I would have loved to smack that kid's parents

Glad he got it back

Way to go Ds getting on Test Track. :cool1: :cool1: :cool1:

We really enjoyed the flower & garden festival. They had many cool things set up all around Epcot. I wouldn't mind trying it again. We will just have to plan better for the heat somehow.

I really thought the parents would show themselves when they saw me talking to their kid.:confused3 I know if I just heard a kid screaming and then saw that parent talking to my kid, I would definitely go over there and see what is going on. Guess some just aren't that way.

I was so surprised a relieved that he still said he liked it afterward! :thumbsup2

I'm all caught up, got behind for a week or so. :rolleyes1

The carriage ride photos were lovely, what a nice relaxing activity for the family. POR looks like a lovely resort.

Toe Jam lady = NASTY! You have to wonder about some people. :confused3

I think that your matching Poly outfits were cute and shame on that CM for making fun under the guise of it being part of the role. Ridiculing guests is definitely not okay!

Glad that the little boy returned the keychain, it was wrong of him to take it but at least he gave it back and felt guilty about taking it.

I loved all your pictures. You really have some nice ones. You are a good photographer.

I can't believe that little boy took the keychain. We mom's just know when a kid is lying. Good job on making him feel guilty enough to put it back.

When we were in Voyage of the Little Mermaid courtney lost one of her favorite pins. It was the first one she ever got. I noticed a little girl in the row behind us showing her mom a pin and I asked her if she just found it on the floor and she said yes. I told her that Courtney just lost it and she gladly gave it back. I think Courtney would have cried too is she didn't get it back.

Oh by the way we had fun at Blue Bayou. They even have a ride part called Dixi Landing. They basically have some kiddie rides like the street fair and a few big rides. I rode a roller coaster that kind of reminded me of Barnstormer and it was fun until the end when it jerked me to the side and I now have a huge bruise on my side. The water park was fun but I hated climbing all of those stairs. The slide was fun but I am too old and out of shape to climb, slide and climb right back up:scared1: They have a nice wave pool and a lazy river too.

I'm glad the little boy gave the keychain back.........shows he at least felt some remorse.:thumbsup2

It's so fun when your kids ride something new and enjoy it!:goodvibes
