So........I'm here. I'm leaving in the morning to drive to Mammoth for the weekend....don't know how I'm going to do....

Just as an FYI, June is going to be even crazier. I'm doing 2 messages for the Saturday youth group at our church. Topic: Drugs and alcohol...I have alot of previous experience.... I am also doing a sermon on Father' Day. Oh and I'm in the Dean of the High School Men at our Church camp and I'm in charge of training for the cabins....Oh and I'm on the Search Committee for our new Associate Pastor and we have 2 2-day interviews with 2 candidates...

Chapter 60. Friday, February 8th. Day 9. Part 2. Wendy and Kim have a "scary" morning and Winkers gets a tour

So, we were supposed to leave for Mammoth around 6 or 7am this morning. It's now 8am. We'll leave in about 10 minutes....So here's the world's quickest update.

I wanted to get something done as a gift to all of you for being so faithful to this TR and being GREAT friends as always.

So where were we....?

Oh yeah, Derek was having a morning.....

But what were the girls doing?

Kim and Wendy were having some girl time and went to DTD for some shopping. Why do girls and shopping just seem to go together?

Anywho....

They have a great time at DTD. They spent around 4 hours there... How can anyone shop for 4 hours? (rhetorical question I want to see what you all say to that question though. )

While they were there, they make a "scary" discovery. They are both frightened and shudder in disbelieve........They saw this

That's right folks. They ran into the monster that is the biddidy bobbity boutique.

Having both apparently lived under a rock, neither Wendy nor Kim have ever heard about BBB.

They were just so freaked out by the fact that people would actually pay that much money for something that wouldn't last that long....Wendy actually saw a little girl walk out of the Boutique and proceed to take everything out of her hair....

Wendy says she'll never take Erin there.

Place your bets. Place your bets. How many years before you see 100 pix with Erin at BBB? Never say never.....

So they got back to the resort and decide to all go to the World Showcase. Of course I do not go, choosing not to use up a day on my pass....

I give them Winkers to take pictures around the World Showcase......

Apparently, they couldn't wait to get out of the hotel before starting.....

Okay just got back from a GREAT trip and there are 14 pages to read through. .dang people. . .its tough enough to keep up but 14 pages?

I just wanted to say that I had an awesome trip and met some really great DIS peeps and may actually do a trip report, but wanted to apologize to Jordan directly that "flat jordan" never made it to WDW. . .He was in color and looking pretty darn good but I woke up late on my departure day and quickly packed. Forgot to add him to my carryon so he sat on the dining table while I enjoyed the world.

I will make sure he makes it on my August trip to the world. It will be a great trip to have him there cause my son and his friend will have just as much fun posing with FJ as will my friend Patty and I. . .AND I am staying at the BWI that trip so will have two awesome parks to walk to.
