Awhile ago, somebody posted a recipe for mini burgers (was it in the old chit-chat thread?). I don't remember who it was! Can somebody please post it again?

Thanks!

Only because we love you..... :goodvibes

1 # ground chuck
Garlic Salt
Onion Powder

Directions

Line a cookie sheet with parchment paper. plop ground chuck on top.

take a sheet of saran wrap and over entire top of cookie sheet meat and all. Roll ground chuck out to fit pan, it'll be real thin. remove wrap and sprinkle meat with garlic salt and onion powder to taste.

Carefully lift parchment paper and double meat over onto itself - fold in half. and pull parchment paper off and lay back on cookie sheet.

Put saran wrap back over and roll out meat again to desired thickness.... remove wrap and throw away.

Take a pizza cutter and cut burgers into desired size. They will be square shaped. Preheat electric fry pan or griddle to 350 degrees.

Cook burgers 3 minutes, turn, cook additional 2 minutes.

My wife made them the night that was posted. As simple as it is to make....and as little flavoring is needed...these little burgers were delicious!!! For some reason even better than my big ol'nasty grilled burgers!!!

Just what I was looking for. Thanks!

Did you use small sq. dinner rolls for buns?

Hmm, I wonder if they would go good in my new smoker...i presmoked it last weekend and this weekend it is going to be smokin some meat!!!!!!

I have to practice for the GG.

It was me.... thanks to Alton Brown of TFN-Good Eats!! I had to post the recipe in honor of Gatordad's penchant for White Castle Burgers!

Thanks to DebbieT11 for responding so quickly & keeping the recipe!! YaY Sistah Deb!!

I'll have to try this one too! DS loves White Castle burgers, the jalapeno ones. He'll be thrilled as the closest one is 30 minutes away.

I wish we had one only 30 minutes away. I'm pretty sure we'd have to drive about 1200 miles to get to one! :sad1:

*sigh*.... I'm feeling the looooove here!! :goodvibes :goodvibes

I went to college in Chicago and fell in love with White Castle and back then you could get their "bag of burgers" which was 10 for a $1. We had them again when in Michigan back in 2004.

You could always take something like a veggie corer and make the required "5 holes" and cook them with some thinly sliced sauteed onions under the pattie after the first flip with the bun on top to steam (you steam one half before and the other after "THE FLIP" keeping both buns on top of the pattie and you're in business then.

I do something similar...but I use ground turkey. I adore turkey burgers and they are better for you!...fat free cheese (sharp cheddar) is pretty good on them too.:hippie:

This is so funny! I was just coming on this thread to ask if anyone's ever tried ground chicken or turkey!! I'm going to try this soon! :goodvibes

I drive by a white castle frequently, if they were giving them away I would probably not stop for one.
Sadly they took out our Rallys and replaced it with WC, now that was downright rude.
