I almost cried at Erin with her Mickey ice cream. The EPITOME of being in Disney for us is at the end of the day, having a Mickey ice cream bar/or sandwich, and sitting in front of the castle, or EPCOT ball, or RrC (b/c that is the last ride for DH always!!)-waiting for the crowds to get out, so i can have my peace time!!

Isn't it great to have Disney "traditions" or things that make Disney, Disney to you? I love that. And people wonder why we like to go back over and over and over. It's that "ahhhh, we're home" feeling. There's nothing like that.

I'm completely up-to-date on your post-trip and on page 50 of your pre-trip. I am addicted!

You remind me so much of an old friend of my sister's. I feel like I already know you! Plus, your relationship with your cousin reminds me so much of my relationship with my sister. She and I are buds!

It's awesome to have close relationships with family members... DH and I are both only children so it's great to have Jordan like a brother to me. Another reason we wanted to give our children the opportunity to have sibling rivalry, er, I mean, relationships. Ha ha. Hopefully they'll be close as they grow up as well.

I have a business trip to Orlando in June and am taking my DW and DD2. We leave 5 weeks from tomorrow!!!!

Fine. Rub it in. Ha ha ha. I don't even know when my next WDW trip is... but at least I know there will be one someday... Better start your PTR now! Ha ha ha ha.

I have gotten such great info on the DIS and will actually be starting my binder this weekend! Thank you to all of you who post the great info and pics!

Binder?!? Scaaaaaaaary. Do you have your assortment of Flat People yet? Do you have all your ADRs? Do you have your trip journal? Do you have your lime green Mickey heads? Do you have your "man bag"? What number draft of your itinerary are you on? #20? #40? 5 weeks is not a lot of time to get your business in order... hee hee hee. (Note - depending on where you are in Jordan's PTR, some of these references may or may not make sense to you yet... keep reading...)

Thanks, I'm out in Fontana, but I lived in the Bay Area until 2004 when we moved down here for my wife to finish up med school.

Yeah, my sister is 5.5 years older and we really started getting close when I was in jr high and she was going off to college. Our love for Disney was a big part. I went with her and her college friends to Disneyland 3 straight years. After college, she worked at the Animation Research Library, so I really had the hook-up for awhile!

She has 2 DD, ages 3.5 and 1. The girls really get along and we can't wait until all of us can go to WDW together!

Fine. Rub it in. Ha ha ha. I don't even know when my next WDW trip is... but at least I know there will be one someday... Better start your PTR now! Ha ha ha ha.

I do have my PTR linked in my sig. It's not too detailed, but it's a start.

Even more scaaaaaaary is that all of the references do make sense!

No flat people yet, although I might make one of my sister.

I do have 2 ADRs taken care of.

No trip journal, lime green Mickey heads, or "man bag." I don't even have a detailed itinerary.

Since the primary reason for going is the business conference, and since the conference schedule isn't posted yet, I can't play everything. I know I'm going to have a hard time resisting the urge to blow off the seminars for more time in the parks.

2. Anyone Asian (with camera)
3. A clean restroom (which I always look for anywhoo)
4. Ah, yes, my favorite. Sleeping people.

Of course this means all of my family members will think I'm completely bonkers.

Try looking out for Jordan WHILE your there at the same time as he is.

I guess if I HAD found him, it would have been an Asian w/ a Dis tagged camera bag, coming out of a clean restroom, Flat Winkers in a pocket, looking for sleeping people or cool places to pose goofy!!

Just loving all your reports. Have read from the beginning! We are headed down May 29th and now I'm thinking of making a Flat Brad (my brother) to take with me. He just left for Iraq on Monday and he would love the pix!! He's one of those fantastic uncles and my kids just love him. Would send him pix of the kids anyway but a Flat Brad would make it so much better. Thanks for the laughs and all the great ideas!

We had good character mojo with Goofy and Donald. The lines were pretty short. The lines for Minnie and Mickey were pretty long



And to think our friendship started with a trip to WDW in 1991.

Your kids are very cute!! I have a friend who is married to a Filpino and thier kids are GORGEOUS, like yours!!!

welcome back.

It's been a crazy re-boot.

How was your trip? TR?

The trip was good, but way too short! Two days visiting family and three in WDW. Luckily, my husband has a conference in Orlando in two weeks that my daughter and I will also be tagging along on.

I don't think I am up to writing a TR just yet. I've read too many good ones, including yours, and don't think I could even come close to being that funny or entertaining.

Can't wait to read your next update!

The hotter it gets the easier it is to find sleeping people. Benches and grassy areas are usually a good place to seek out those who choose to slumber. Oh and air-conditioned attractions...

I love a clean and quiet restroom.

Asians in groups are the best. Now for the test...can you figure out Asians from the US as opposed to visiting from Asia?
